What you want are the directions for how to prepare this lubricant best to make it more human-useful
This lubricant is fairly well misunderstood. It's not enough to simply mix with water. That makes a lubricant that is either too snotty in consitancy or one that dries out too quickly. What you want are the directions for how to prepare this lubricant best to make it more human-useful. Here are my unofficial directions that you never knew you needed but you really really do need a basic guideline how to prepare this personal lubricant best and how to do it according to your personal taste. Myself, ai like lubr when it isn't runny and isn't constantly in a state of dry-out. Prepare your J-Lube like so for a more silky—not snotty—kind of longer lasting lubricant experience with more feeling to it. 1. Mix one part J-Lube powder into a large cup with 5 parts water. (i.e. 2 Tablespoons J-Lube with 10 Tablespoons of water). Adjust to preference. 2, Stir or Blend thoroughly until no white chunks of lube powder are visible. 3, Microwave for at least 1 minute. Check to see if boiling. Keep microwaving in 30 second intervals until you see the lube actually boil over. Then stop immediately! You don't want to boil it dry or burn it. Just a light quick boil. 4. Cool lubricant at room temperature. (Set aside on a counter or in your refrigerator for at least 10 minutes to cool off before touching your new vastly improved J-Lube.) It is the microwaving it step that makes all the difference. How is one to know to do this though when the bottle has no instructions that come with it other than "apply to hands"? I had to find out by researching it online. Boiling it changes it somehow and gets rid of the snot feeling and adds the silky feeling. Now its my go-to favorite lubricant because it doesn't wear out too quick, isn't sticky really anymore, and is relatively speaking dirt cheap as far as bang for the buck as lubes go. Hopefully this helps a lot of you out to prepare your J-Lube for the most pleasurable results possible!

Dangerously slippy
I bought this because the internet told me it was the "gold standard" of slipperiness. When the bottle arrived, it looked innocent enough—just a humble white powder that looks suspiciously like something a 1980s rock star would have on a coffee table. Pro-tip: Do not open this near a ceiling fan. If you inhale a stray puff, your throat will become so slick you’ll accidentally swallow your own tongue like a greased noodle. The Mixing Incident The instructions say to mix a small amount with water. I thought, "I’m a big guy, I can handle a tablespoon." Big mistake. Within thirty seconds, my kitchen turned into a scene from a low-budget sci-fi movie. One tablespoon of J-Lube turns a gallon of water into a sentient, vibrating blob of translucent slime. It doesn’t just "pour"—it reaches. It has the structural integrity of a jellyfish and the adhesive properties of a clingy ex. The Performance Once it’s on, you no longer exist in a world governed by the laws of friction. The Good: If you need to slide a grand piano through a keyhole, this is your product. The Bad: I dropped the bottle. It hit the floor and bounced. I tried to catch it, but my hands were already "activated." The bottle shot out of my grip like a wet bar of soap propelled by a railgun, shattered a vase in the next room, and then slid under the fridge with the grace of an Olympic curler. The Cleanup (or Lack Thereof) Trying to wash J-Lube off with just water is like trying to put out a grease fire with a squirt gun. It only makes it stronger. Water is the fuel that powers this slip-engine. I spent forty minutes in the shower feeling like a buttered eel, eventually having to use dish soap, salt, and a prayer to regain the ability to turn my own doorknob. Final Verdict J-Lube is not a lubricant; it is a portal to a dimension where physics is a suggestion. It is incredibly cost-effective. This 10oz bottle will likely outlive my grandkids. Just remember: once you mix it, you are committed. You aren't just "using" J-Lube; you are entering into a legal contract with the concept of slipperiness itself. Would I recommend? Yes. But keep a bag of sand nearby in case you ever need to stand up again.

One of the best of its kind!
People swear this particular product is the best for a very good reason. It's slick, it can be adjusted to any thickness, it mixes well with other things, and it can easily be reactivated with a little water. It is very messy and it's not easy to clean, but it's so fun. It's highly affordable and fairly safe to use. It's 100% worth every cent. I have been a faithful fan of this product for about 12 years now. It's my go-to for certain activities (I have to be mindful of how I word this). Remember: Only use it in the back zone, never in the front zone.

The real deal in slippery
UPDATE: 2 MONTHS LATER I'm still enjoying this lube. Judging by how little powder I've needed to use I expect this to last a few years or more. This is better than the lube brands I've purchased in the past. This doesn't stain the sheets at all whereas the others almost always did. I had purchased from Amazon some dispenser bottles (Soft 'N Style Applicator Bottle, 4 oz, Pack of 2) which work great because the bottles are small but will hold a good amount for application. ORIGINAL REVIEW I'll have to admit, I did have some skepticism but high hopes when purchasing this. My only use of this was to add a few pinches of the powder to a near empty 16oz plastic bottle of drinking water. There was about enough water in the bottle to barely visually tell there was still water there. I put the cap on and shook it up and took the bottle with me to the shower to conduct the test. I poured some into my hand but it wasn't until I put it on my skin did I notice how thick and tacky it was yet extremely slick when rubbing on my skin. The sensation was amazing as there was no friction. So it scored very high in the "feeling" category. Although I didn't continue testing to see how long the slickness lasted it seemed that it would last as long as needed for my purposes. Water from the shower head was enough to wash away the lube and so I didn't need any soap/cleanser to assist with that. This is a major plus. Also, I didn't feel like my feet were going to slip in the bath tub from the lube that was washed off or had fallen to the tub. The water was quite thorough in washing it away. pros: - GREAT Viscocity, tacky when less water is used (almost like a slime) which is how I like it - Appears to last just as long as it isn't further diluted with more water - no smell - doesn't cake or crumb up - no apparent staining - didn't require any preparation other than sprinkling some powder in a barely empty bottle of water (no heating up or trying to get exact measurements or water to powder ratios) - you get plenty of powder because the bottle isn't small. A little bit of powder goes a long way so expect your supply to last awhile CONS - The bottle feels a bit cheap as does the cap. You may spill some powder when opening or retrieving powder from the bottle

Interesting stuff!
I've read about the great qualities of J-Lube, for advanced butt play for years. I finally decided to give it a try, to see what all the fuss was about. This is some very interesting stuff. I've never seen anything like it. First, the pros: If you think, "other than some obvious differences, lubes are all basically the same", like I used to, you couldn't be more wrong. This stuff is very, very slippery, and non-irritating, just like what everyone says. It also lasts a very long time as well. And the fact that it is inexpensive for the amount that it makes (compared to conventional lubes), if you are budget minded, you don't mind using a substantial amount more of it, which makes it even that much more slicker and long lasting. And now the cons: It is kind of a pain to pre-mix (although this isn't entirely necessary depending on what you will be doing with it). I'm sure that after I've done it a few times it won't be that bad tho. And, from the recipe that I used to mix it, it is very messy, and the consistency is very bizarre. It is almost like a gel that is extremely stringy. We're talking this stuff would string 5-6 ft. And it wouldn't "let go" of anything (which has it's advantages as well). Since this was my first batch, and the fact that it was a fresh batch (it should sit for a day to fully hydrate), I'm not taking away many points for these cons. There are several recipes (ratios and methods of mixing) that produce different results. I will be experimenting with this to help combat these cons. Overall I will keep my rating high, because I did have a excellent session with it. It is everything everyone says it is. Just keep in mind that it is also VERY different than any conventional lube on the market.

Decent
My only complaint is trying to get the perfect ratio of water to powder. But a simple Google search answers that

Endless supply.
You ever see anything featuring a seemingly endless clear slippy slop of what appears to be super lubricant poured out on a tarp or inflatable bed? Maybe you didn’t like the idea of that much of it all at once. But maybe you saw the thick gooey texture and thought it would be much more fun to try a traditional more liquid like water based lube? This is it. I had a recently empty bottle of a go to water-based lubricant. I used a very small amount of this with water and was shocked by the results. I don’t think I’ll need to buy traditional water base lube for the next year and that’s if I use this like crazy. And I kept adding and making it thicker and thicker. I was using a hand mixer. The electric type. Went from looking like a liquid to climbing up the batter mixer out of the bowl. I turned off the mixer and it started stringing back quickly to the bowl I was mixing in. This stuff feels great. It is body safe. You can mix it as thick or thin as you like. And it is going to have properties that help preserve it from bad things growing in it. So as long as you seal it up properly, you don’t have to worry about it going bad after you mix it. Fine Mr. wizard science project like mixing all for fun bedroom time activities. But I don’t think you would need too much of this if you wanted to do something crazy like make the world’s most slippery slip and slide in the summertime. And I kind of wanna get a tiny inflatable pool that I would later throw away if I can convince my wife to get into it with me. Just to try it.

Works better for cheaper.
Works better than most other lubes and for far far cheaper, with each bottle making about 12 litres (3.2 gallons) if you mix it thick or 20 litres (5.3 gallons) if you mix it thin. You can mix it to the thickness that you want, doesn't smell unpleasant, is PERFECTLY safe despite the scary warnings, and stores surprisingly well when mixed up and infinitely if not mixed. The lid of the container is pretty weak and fiddley and will leak powder if you don't tighten it hard (but not too hard or it'll skip and loosen again and it's a very fine line). Does require you to mix it up if you need it, but all you have to do is put it in boiling water to your desired ratio, shake it for a bit and then wait for it to cool down. Can also add other things if you want to spice it up a little or improve it. Does have limited staying power if you mix it too thin. Highly recommend, no matter what kind lubey fun you're doing.
