A PC-Building Essential
These are basically isopropyl cleaning wipes from Noctua. Before you run out to get medical isopropyl alcohol from your cabinet, you should be aware that this product is made specifically for computers; the isopropyl alcohol in these wipes is a much higher purity than what you find at any typical store. Medical-grade isopropyl alcohol has too much water, and that may harm your electronic device.Overall, I'm very satisfied with this product. I won't build a computer without a box of these nearby. It'll leave a bit of harmless residue that may be annoying, but that comes off with a microfiber cloth.

It fixed a bad Intel CPU
Used this to clean the bottom contacts of an Intel CPU that had memory controller problems which were causing RAM errors in tests. The CPU is working now and has passed memory tests. I would give this product ten stars if I could. It must leave electrical contacts very clean. It didn't even take many wipes to clean the top and bottom of the CPU. It also was able to clean the old thermal compound off the cooler as well. A single wipe is able to do a good amount of cleaning of compound.

OK, I guess.
The pads clean old paste off CPU and Cooler surfaces but leave a residue best wiped off with a facial tissue or paper towel before it dries.I used WD-40 as it does a better job cleaning but carries the risk of damaging PCB surfaces if it comes in contact with them.

Use sparingly.
Perfect for removing compound from coolers and processors.

Clean CPU
These are the only things that seem to get the job done effectively. Be careful if you’ve cut your fingers on any plastic clips while working because these have some sort of alcohol in them and it will hurt.

Handy little things in a Pandemic!
SO trying to build a computer when theres a Pandemic going on is actually harder than you think. You need Isopropyl alcohol for removing thermal paste. and when you don't have any.. good luck finding it cause every store is sold out. Luckily.. Noctua makes these handy little thermal Paste removal wipes. I ordered a box of these and when they came in I instantly tried them. I mean they are exactly what they say they are and work exactly how they should. They do seem a little heavy on the liquid but its not a huge dealbreaker. Plus you get 30 wipes in a box all individually wrapped. Perfect. These will last a long time and I won't have to worry about trying to find Isopropyl Alcohol during an outbreak ever again. Instead I can concentrate on finding a different sort of alcohol. Why is the Rum Always gone!
