Skin Therapy Cleansing Face Wash & Makeup Remover (6.5 Oz)

I was suffering from extremely dry skin (psoriasis) and was desperate for some relief. My daughter recommended I try an oil cleanser. I have always loved Palmer's products and decided to give the Skin Therapy Cleansing Face Wash a try. This product has saved my sanity! I felt relief from the tightness and burning from the first wash. Within 7 to 10 days, I felt the dry patches return to softer, smoother skin. The texture is lighter than an oil, and it has a soft rose scent. The scent, however, does not last, so if you are not into fragrance, that's a plus. I would highly recommend this product!

I was first introduced to cleansing oil via a sample of DHC. When that was gone, I switched to this Palmer’s. I find it works just as well. This recent bottle will be my second. I find that it does a great job as a co-wash to break down all of the day’s layers of cosmetics (EXCEPT waterproof mascara). The pump mechanism dispenses the perfect amount. It’s easily smoothed over the face and neck. The majority of it rinses off fairly easily, and washes off completely with a follow-up face wash. The smell is light and pleasant and doesn’t linger. I have experienced NO irritation, clogged pores, breakouts, or burning using this. As I only use this when I’m washing-off makeup, the bottle lasts seemingly forever. After a couple/few years, because it is an oil, it DOES have a tendency to smell rancid. (Not faulting Palmer’s product, as they all get skunky after a while). A good value (price & performance)…Recommend.

great on sensitive skin. not a lathering oil but definitely cleans the face! not super oily or greasy at all. not a thick slimy feeling oil. love how it cleans and leaves the skin feeling soft, glowy, and clean

It smells like turkish delight mixed with white chocolate. Honestly it smells so so lovely. It's a thicker oil cleanser that easily spreads with the heat of your face. It emulsifies fully with water, it rinses very well, it doesn't leave the skin feeling oily exactly, but you can feel your skin is moisturized for sure. It removes waterproof mascara very well after some gentle messaging. I find my face is just more aglow with this in my routine, it is really like korean formulas, but available here in the USA! Very very pleased. I've been using japanese and korean only for a veeery long time, usually western ones are subpar. this one is great!

I was in love with the last face wash I was loyal to, and they discontinued it. This face wash isn’t a perfect as my #1, but it does leave a moisturized feeling after rinsing it off. I tend to prefer oil based facial wash’s, and this one is that. It smells like roses and rinses easily. It removes makeup effectively without stripping the oils from my skin. I will probably buy it again, unless the orange essence one miraculously becomes available again. I’m 50 and am prone to having skin on the dryer side. If you want something that cuts oil, this is not it. But, it’s worthy of being loved if you want to retain your moisture. And, the price is pretty reasonable.

I was a little reticent at first, because it goes on feeling kinda oily, yet cleanses very well and actually washes off with plain ol' water, go fig?! Leaving your precious face sooo smooth and refreshed. Oh - and it removed my WATER-PROOf mascara like a Champ! This here miraculous "potion" lol gets ALL 5 stars and More!

This is what I was looking for. I wanted an oil that broke down all makeup from my face in one step, without having to scrub. The first time I used a bit much. I learned to use less for my particular face (I'm petite). It removed my waterproof mascara better than my Almay eye makeup remover. It left my face feeling soft. I finished with a bit of my regular cleanser as a last step. I have had no breakouts or irritation so far, and I'm usually very sensitive and have oily skin. My only complaint is the smell. It's strong, at least for my taste (and I'm not a fan of anything that smells like rose scent). But, I'm wiling to overlook that because I just wanted a product that is effective and won't break me out.

Excellent for taking off makeup. I do need to follow up with a gentle cleanser. The scent is wonderful. Will purchase again when I need it.
