I don't see why one couldn't use it with a tiny fire inside and melt scented wax in the tiny pot.** A: Actually you can put tea light candles inside! It's actually pretty amazing because I actually tried cooking with the stove and it works! A small flame is actually safe for the mini pot because it's just like any cast iron pan, you can also bake in it. :) **Q: What is it's output in BTUs and what size stove pipe is needed for the chimney?** A: Considering the very popular mini cooking trend, I can't tell if this is a serious question or not. Pretending that it IS, I can tell you that the chimney on this thing is not functional, but there are other openings throughout the stove that work for ventalation when you put candles in it as the heat source.
