I sew and design fashion and this works so well as pattern drafting paper. I was wondering what ‘crepe’ means in this context as I worried it meant textured or bumpy. It’s not at all! It’s perfectly smooth just matte and not shiny (I guess that’s the difference between crepe and smooth?). Its pretty much identical to commercial pattern paper you’d find in say a Simplicity pattern — except white and a tiny bit thicker. It’s so easy to mark on (even with pen and pencil) and very easy to see through. It’s pretty durable considering how lightweight it is and I haven’t had a problem. It can be ironed and It’s not too noisy which is a plus! I am so happy that I didn’t spend the extra ten dollars for the ‘smooth’ one when this is exactly what I wanted. I am so happy and this saves me so much time and effort especially during pattern manipulation.
