Solid information.
Guthery is an expert on quail and his books are relevant and informative for anyone interested in the Bobwhite. I'd rank him right up there with Stoddard and and note that his information is a bit more accessible. The terrain about which he writes differs from much of the Southeast but there are many aspects of quail management that are universal and he has much to teach us.

It was a gift
My dad said he had wanted this book for years, but for a while it was out of print. Due to high demand it was re-printed. I recommend to any outdoor/ texas history afficionados.
