Babo Botanicals Purifying Swim & Sport 2-in-1 Body Wash + Shampoo for Babies, Children, and Adults

I wish I would have ordered this sooner. I have been having so many issues with my daughters hair being so knotty and dry and never looking soft and pretty anymore. When we got her hair cut last week it was recommended I get a swimmers shampoo to remove chlorine build up from swimming. I came on Amazon in hopes of finding a natural based one and saw this. After only one wash her hair is 100% improved. She even wore it down all day at school and came home knot and matte free! She is 5 and even she is commenting on how much softer and prettier her hair is today. I am going to be ordering the family size and trying it on mine too. Plus it smells so good!

A friend and I were discussing our boys and that "wet dog smell". If you have a little boy, you know what I'm talking about. I use Baby Aquaphor for bubble baths and other frivolous expenditures of soap. This product is too expensive for that, but I keep it on hand for those few times each week that he really needs a better clean. After washing his hair (and the rest of him) with this, the "wet dog smell" goes away (until the next time he plays in the mud, or just has a sweaty nap...). I like the apple scent a lot, and so does he. It isn't cheap, but that's because it isn't cheap. It's good stuff and I definitely have become dependent upon having it on hand.

I use these with my kids after swim lessons. For my son, it works great and washes well. I can't smell the chlorine after the shower. My daughter has thick and long hair so in her case, we do two washes to make sure we're thorough. It smells fantastic! I now use it for myself too.

Although I work in a pool, I'm sensitive to chlorine as well as some ingredients in most other cleansers. This one works wonderfully to remove the chlorine smell and prevents the redness and itching. I have t tried it as a shampoo, since I rarely get my head in the water. I read that some people don't like the scent...I enjoy it, it smells like Jolly Roger candy and goes away quickly. You have to make sure to get it over every body surface that was exposed to the pool water to get the chlorine smell off, but scrubbing isn't necessary.

I like the product because it's tear-free and doesn't contain those yucky chemicals that shouldn't be on personal care products, but two things stop me from giving this 5 stars.One, the product smells quite strong...a strong apple-like smell. It makes me wonder why such a natural product can have such a strong smell. The good thing though is that the smell washes off quickly enough, it doesn't linger in the hair and body like other shampoos and washes.The second thing I don't like is that the shampoo and wash feels very thick and slippery...after shampooing, I still feel like my baby's skin has residue and I have to bathe her longer just to make sure that no trace of the product remains.I do like what the company stands for so I might try other shampoos in their line. But I'm likely not buying this particular one again.

Great shampoo! I originally bought this for removing chlorine after swimming at the pool, but quickly found this is a great shampoo to use anytime. It makes my hair super soft, and I feel like I can use this often without stripping my hair too much. The scent is very light, which is a plus if you're sensitive to fragrances. It's a bit watery, but you just have to be careful not to use too much. Will definitely be repurchasing.

I can't tell you how many shampoos I have tried to clear my scalp and make it feel like new. This shampoo did the trick. When it arrived, I thought this might be for kids... but after I used it, I can tell you it is far and away the best shampoo I have ever used. If your city water is highly chlorinated and it is irritating your scalp, then this is the shampoo for you. It isn' t that it is just gentle on the scalp but my scalp was full of irritation and this shampoo cleared it up after the first cleansing. I am using it everyday and loving it. I can't say enough. Besides this review, I wrote to the company and gave them 5 stars for producing such a great product. I say miracle because of my frustration with my scalp and its condition. Even my dermatologist couldn't clear up the problem. This shampoo really works. It leaves my hair soft and easy to comb but I really bought it to see if it would clear up my scalp irritation and it worked right away, hence, "Miracle"

This shampoo seems to be working quite well since my hair is still white! I only gave it four stars because the lid broke off after a week and since I take it to the Y I have resorted to duct tape and funtac to keep it from spilling. Annoying, but a good product, leaves my hair silky and in good condition.
