Nice product but needs improvement.
The package arrived despite the fact that the shipping details say it hasn’t arrived yet. Go figure. The box that the items were shipped in was thoroughly thrashed. I’m beyond surprised that everything was present and accounted for and nothing was broken!Everything came separated in unmarked zip locked bags. The instructions (if you can call them that) are photocopies of black and white photos. The MDF came pre-painted as ordered. It’s fairly simple yet decent. The entire package smells like cloves. I suppose it could be worse. The tolerances are not very accurate and many pieces take several tries to assemble especially considering the absolute lack of detail in the instructions. Wood glue is certainly a necessity and many pieces lack any form of joinery thereby making the glueing process extremely difficult and tricky. You will need a LOT of patience to assemble these little houses which actually seem slightly smaller than 28mm.All in all, once assembled, they look very nice, albeit slightly delicate.I used hobby/craft wood to reinforce the roofs and done off the walls so as to provide greater sturdiness and rigidity.Great product concept but lacking in any real instructions and the designs could use some revamp. They could take a lesson from Broken Token on laser cut MDF joinery techniques.
