Oh, Lenny & Larry! How I love your cookies! And not just because they truly are delicious but because my husband adores them and often trades off his lunch for one which means….I DON’T HAVE TO STOP WHAT I’M DOING TO COOK FOR HIM! Oh, that sounds a bit selfish, I know but HEY! We all get busy! Anyway, business at hand…. These guy’s cookies delivers SIXTEEN GRAMS of PROTEIN! ….Are PLANT BASED! And with 440 CALORIES PER COOKIE, keep him filled up til dinner! Now, honestly, I cannot afford those kinds of calories so I am not the intended eater of these cookies but having enjoyed some here and there, I have to say…..Larry & Lenny know what they’re doing in making these cookies! Imagine my Hubby’s delight when I surprised him with TWO BOXES at a great price during the recent Black Friday sale. My only mistake was in not buying FOUR BOXES as their far reaching expiration date would have easily allowed for that. You can be sure, I’ll be watching for another sake but regardless, these cookies remain in our Subscribe and Save list. 🍪🍪🍪🍪

Picked up these chocolate cookies and some of their peanut butter. Having to meet 130 G protein a day is hard! These help and have great texture and taste. Recommend them to anyone needing to boost your protein intake and don’t want to drink it.

Taste great, plenty of protein. This is one of the better protein cookies I’ve tried.

There really needs to be a warning on the wrappers of these cookies. They cause EXTREME intestinal distress. I mean room clearing, paint peeling, noxious gas and explosive diarrhea. I did not realize this until after I had already ate a couple of them. I had gas so bad that I literally was unable to leave my house. It was horrible. This went on for days as I kept eating the cookies because I had no idea that it was the cookies that was causing it. I now call them "fookies", or fart cookies. I have never been more grateful to be single, work from home, and live alone as I currently am. No one else would be able to survive in an enclosed space with me right now. It's really bad. I have to keep apologizing to my dogs. It sounds like the 4th of July and smells like The Bog of Eternal Stench in here. Poor things have no idea what is going on. After it finally clicked that it might be these cookies causing the issue I came here to read the reviews and now I see that I am definitely not alone. I have also seen the responses from the manufacturers of these cookies, the ones that say that it's because of the chicory root fiber and you have to get used to it, if your body is not used to this kind of fiber then you may have some gut problems. That is putting it mildly. I feel like the gas that I am producing could be used to launch rockets into space. They also say that it takes around 7 days for your body to adapt - well, I'm 16 days in and on my 2nd package of 12 of these cookies and there has been no improvement. It's just as bad now as it was on the first day. So. Again, please put a warning on these cookies. This is information that consumers need to have upfront. The fumes that your body will produce are WMDs that should not be unleashed upon innocent bystanders. I have one more 12 pack of these to eat and I'm going to eat them because apparently I am unable to learn from my mistakes, but I don't see myself ever buying these cookies again. Aside from all that, the cookies were great! None of them have been broken at all and they are fresh and tasty.

My go to when I’m working shifts I don’t have time to fix up a meal before work, great tasting cookie.

I've tried 5 different flavors so far. Pretty huge differences between them all. Chocolate chip: Not very sweet at all. Kind of dense and dry. They make me feel like I'm eating IKEA furniture. The expiration date is about the same as all the other flavors, so they're not old. Just not very good. 1/5 White chocolate macadamia nut: Amazingly different from chocolate chip. Much sweeter, much softer, moister texture. Definitely a very different recipe. I can eat these without feeling like I'm eating a "healthy" cookie. 5/5 Peanut butter: Where the chocolate chip cookies are like eating IKEA furniture, these things are like eating some kind of half price knockoff brand particle board furniture. Very dense. Dry and crumbly, but at the same time they stick to your teeth because of the peanut butter. Barely sweet at all. If you constantly find yourself saying that baked goods are "too sweet," and only use 1/2 of a sugar packet at a time, this may be the perfect cookie for you. But definitely not for me. This flavor seriously just makes me sad. 0/5 Birthday cake: Very sweet, good vanilla flavor. Decent texture. A little plain otherwise, but so is actual birthday cake. Not much to say, other than this one lives up to its name. All you need is some candles. 4/5 Snickerdoodle: Incredibly sweet and encrusted with real cinnamon sugar, like a snickerdoodle should be. Much like the white chocolate macadamia flavor, these don't taste "healthy" at all. 5/5 Overall, I have to give the brand 5/5 stars for variety, and because I do like several of the flavors so far. There should be something for everyone, whether you're a sugar fiend like me, or if you think that sawdust is too sweet. If you're in the latter camp, just reverse all my ratings.

My kids are athletes - I mean like they are at practice 4 hours a day, 6 days a week. So, nutrition is a really big deal, especially on tournament days. My kids love these cookies. They are a solid protein item that isn't too nasty to eat. My son actually looks forward to eating them. They are dense, definitely a mouthful, but they are soft enough that they still legitimately feel like you are eating a cookie. There is a good amount of flavor and it is a decent sized cookie.

Big but the flavor isn’t like cookies, well it have an awkward texture and taste. My family is a cookie fan and this didn’t pass the test for them.
