Great wood work top
This teak wood worktop is beautiful. I was leery about ordering this wood worktop as it had no reviews and other wood work tops that met my needs did have reviews that were all over the spectrum from awful to wonderful with the biggest issue being quality control. People were receiving their tops not packaged well and beat up or even broken in two so when I saw this had no reviews I almost did not order. This teak wood top was packaged very well with an outer amazon box and inner box. There was additional protection wrapped around the perimeter of the work top. The picture is with one coat of mineral oil. It’s very solid and it is heavy. There was some slight wave to the surface and slight unevenness in the planing my husband pointed out. Neither are deal breakers and I put the side with the most unevenness down. You have to run your hand over it to even tell. You cannot tell by looking. I was pleased that it was a little darker than I expected then once you add the oil it brings out that rich, darker color.
