I didn't want a glass table because it gets windy in my area - and glass tables shatter. I like the table, but when it rains and dries because it is a solid black, you can see drop marks. Not a real big deal but I am thinking a multi colored table wouldn't show it as much. I was also not impressed with the oblong umbrella. It doesn't tilt, doesn't really provide shade for people seated like a round umbrella does. Plus, when you close the oblong umbrella - the long sides hang on the table.I had received a question about the set from a potential buyer and shared with that buyer my thoughts on the umbrella. They were able to find the same set without an umbrella for less money. They purchased a 9 foot round umbrella separately which is what I would have done had I known.Fortunately, Pebble Lane is an excellent company to work with. I shared my thoughts on the umbrella and they were eager to make it right and switched the umbrella for me.I love the sling high backed chairs. Very comfortable, and no cushions to worry about - they dry fast. The only thing is that since they all are swivel - the middle chair doesn't push in as far on the side of the table because there is a leg that comes down from the table in the middle and because the base is round you can't push it in all the way. No big deal when people are sitting but when you push the chairs in when you are not using it, the middle chair sticks out a few inches further than the other two. Not a huge deal. I am happy with the purchase.

We purchased the black 7 piece patio set through amazon and then purchased the matching loungers through pebble lane direct. The set took about a week to get after purchasing, and setup wasn’t bad at all. However, our table came in damaged. Whileassembling before seeing the damaged table, we noticed the quality of this set isn’t the greatest. Very thin aluminum is used to build it and the chairs are extremely light weight. Called amazon and pebble lane as soon as we noticed the dents on the face of the table, they immediately apologized and sent a replacement. Replacement took another week to arrive, and that one was damaged too and refused. Called them again, and they swore this never happens and offered a refund or replacement. In the mean time, a gust of wind had blown one of the chairs off my deck because they are so light.... so I was hesitant to order another replacement table. But my wife loved the looks of the set so we decided to give them one more shot at the table. Third table took a over week this time and showed up damaged as well. Wonderful. A month of waiting and still no usable set.Contacting them was a bit difficult for a couple of days until we contacted amazon customer service and they took over. Now they agreed to take everything back but we decided to keep the loungers at the time, hoping to find something that would match them. Now that we found a set that we like and doesn’t match the loungers, I’ve been calling them everyday for two weeks to return them and no one answers or will return messages. So now I’m stuck with these $300 loungers that don’t match our new set.Bottom line, they do not protect the set very well for shipping at all. They use a light foam wrap and the cardboard box. With the thin aluminum material, it’s dings very easily. One person can pick up the whole table that seats 6 at ease. I wouldn’t recommend this company or set to anyone. We ended up spending more and buying a set from yardbird that required a forklift to set on to the driveway and two people to struggle to assemble their aluminum table. I’m only saying that to explain the difference of what real quality is. But if you want a nice looking set that slides around a deck with minimal effort, this set fits the build. It’s a really nice looking cheap set.

Delivery - The delivery was outsourced to a third party delivery company. For my order, this was Ceva Logistics. It was easy to deal with this company. They called to schedule a delivery date and time. I was also able to easily set and change the delivery date/time on their website. They were available to deliver on a Saturday. The delivery men were fast and efficient. The shipment included 6 very large boxes. The men were even willing to bring the boxes to the backyard. The boxes looked a bit beat up at first glance, but there were only a few holes and tears. I think it was because of the nature of the items inside of the boxes being oddly shaped. Everything was intact; nothing was scratched nor broken. It came with a base and an umbrella that is rectangular and covers the entire table.Assembly - Assembly took around an hour, however much of that time was spent unwrapping mini bubble wrap from the parts of the chairs and table. Assembly of the chairs was extremely easy - the seat portion of the chair had a pole on the bottom that popped right into a hole on the base. The table assembly was straightforward.Quality - The quality is exactly what I was looking for, but other people may have different requirements. The metal of both the table and chairs is sturdy, yet lightweight enough to be easily moved. The surface of the table is tempered glass. The chairs are light, easy to move, and are not cumbersome. I like that the chairs do not require cushions. The chair material is waterproof and not absorbent. All of the chairs are identical - each one both rocks and spins.Usage - After using the table and chairs, we were very surprised to discover that the manufacturers seemed to have put some thought into its design! The table legs curve inward, so that no matter which chair you sit in, you can easily turn to stand up and leave the table without knocking into the table legs. While seated at the table, you have a fairly large turning radius - the limiting factor is when the chair back hits the table surface, so you are able to rotate more than 180 degrees. The chair armrests also fit below the table, so you are able to scoot up to be closer to the table without a problem.We are very satisfied!
