It measures 5.94" x 2.56" x 3.70", with a total height of 3.94" including terminals, weighs approximately 4.5 lbs, and features clearly marked polarity with F1 3/16" terminals. This battery is commonly used to replace compatible 12V 7Ah, 7.2Ah, 7.5Ah, 8Ah, and 9Ah SLA AGM batteries when voltage, dimensions, polarity, and F1 3/16" terminal type match. Replacement references may include UB1270, RT1270, EXP1270, CA1270, CP1270, 12FM7, ML7-12, NP7-12, PS1270, FAS1075, 6FM7, and PL7-12. Best applications include compatible home security systems, UPS backups, emergency lighting, exit signs, FIOS-style backup units, small solar kits, portable speakers, camping lights, kids’ ride-on toys, feeders, and other 12V SLA devices. Not all UPS, alarm, scooter, ride-on toy, or backup systems use the same battery size, terminal, or connector. For best performance, fully charge before first use and use a compatible 12V SLA/AGM charger rated 0.7A–1.4A; do not exceed 2A. Automotive chargers, jump starters, and high-amp chargers are not recommended. Runtime may vary depending on device load, charger condition, temperature, terrain, and storage history. For seasonal devices such as kids’ ride-on toys, feeders, camping lights, and small solar kits, fully charge before storage and recharge every 2–3 months. For UPS use, confirm correct polarity and secure terminal connection, then allow the unit to fully charge the new battery. Some UPS models may require a manual self-test or reset after battery replacement. Before ordering, compare your original battery’s voltage, dimensions, F1 3/16" terminal type, polarity, capacity requirement, and wiring or connector setup. ## Features - Universal Compatibility: Works with garage door opener, alarm systems, security devices and UPS. 12V7Ah/20HR rechargeable battery replaces 1270 batteries, UB1270, RT1270, CA1270, and more. - Long-Lasting Performance: 12V 7Ah rechargeable battery provides maintenance-free construction and spill-proof design. Going on experience, most sealed batteries can be mounted either way, though some dislike being upside down. Mine has been mounted medium dimension down, long dimension vertical & narrowest front-to-back in a Verizon back-up power supply for almost 2 years without issue. Hope that helps. **Q: My old Battery measures 4x6x2.5 to fit new batteries it has to be this size, is that what these are?** A: Hello, Our EXP1270 battery dimensions are: 5.94(L) * 2.56(W) * 3.7(H) inches **Q: Is this battery an agm or an sla battery? agm is in there product name, but all the descriptions say it's an sla.** A: An AGM (absorbent glass mat) battery is a type of SLA (sealed lead acid) battery. ## Frequently Bought Together - ExpertPower 2 Pack 12V 7Ah AGM Rechargeable Battery - 12V Sealed Lead Acid (SLA) Battery Charger 1300mA, with Short Circuit Protection --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/198739932-expertpower-exp1270-12v-7ah-battery-sla-rechargeable-f1-terminals-2](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/198739932-expertpower-exp1270-12v-7ah-battery-sla-rechargeable-f1-terminals-2) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
