Recover Tactical CC3H Grip and Rail System for The 1911

Review: (My weapon: Citadel Traditional Fullsize 1911-A1 9mm) Summary: Awesome product, looks and functions great, needs filing to fit properly, shipping was horrible. Fit: It "fit" the gun out of the box, however if I literally would have just taken it out of the box and left it as is the gun wouldn't of functioned. The slide rubbed it and the grip section was too thick to let the grips mate in the middle. The grips themselves are clearly made to be ground to fit per application there are "built up" areas of material around sections that can be easily filed for a custom fit. Bottom line is 45 minutes later and a pile of plastic these grips fit perfectly and look great. Function: The included hardware is functional and easy to install, the grips are not any wider than the set of hogue wrap around grips I took off to install them (they may feel "wider" to people who use panel grips as any wrap around grip does. I was going to stiple the grips when I got them but there is no need the raised grip texture is pretty effective. Feels good in the hand and the rail works perfectly. I have a laser/light combo on there fits perfect the gun does not feel significantly heavier than before even with the light/laser on it. These grips also surround the area where the slide release pin is and helps to keep you from scratching up the frame when you are taking it apart, added bonus. Aesthetics: Confirmed the factory picture does suck as I suspected and the grips are a much tougher looking dark OD green like they should be not the light olive looking color in the photos. The gun looks mean I really like the looks of these grips. Note: Let me say while the item is awesome shipping speed was horrendous it took it like 10 days to drive from LA to PDX which is literally as simple as saying leave LA get on the I5 and stop when you get to Portland 8 hours later... Its not like it came from Hong Kong, from which I have received products faster than I got this. Ill try to add a picture to the customer images.

It fits full size 1911 and will transform your gun I really like it

This is the best thing that could happen to add to your gun. No drilling to your gun. Clean, Quick application with two screws plus the grip panels screws, looks great and after you add it to your gun you have a place to put the "Light & Laser" on. I have purchased 4 of these for my guns.

OK i'm going to provide as MUCH detail as I possibly can as well as a crap ton of pictures so get ready for this review! OK for starters the grip in itself. It is light however does not "feel" flimsy, weak, cheap, or whatever nasty description you can throw at it. It's light weight and durable that's the only real way to describe it. Better yet imagine the stock plastic grips that come with a 1911 but imagine it in this form and shape but slightly more durable that is this. Installation is extremely easy and fast, comes with all allan wrenches and screws necessary and was able to do it very fast (like 10 minutes fast) the rail is nice it places closer to the trigger vs the aluminum rail that is much cheaper here ([...]) Which makes activating one of my Green Laser + flashlight attachments MUCH easier since I don't have to use both hands to activate or stretch my finger ackwardly. As expected it is extremely sturdy easy to install attachments as with any rail. So overall the grips are nice, feels good in the hand, easy to put together, and overall good. However one thing that confused me but It's not really a bad thing nor why this is 4/5 instead of 5/5 but where the grip is there is a gap. As in the grip does not connect here and I didn't know if i had installed it wrong so I went back undid it and redid it but as you will see in the picture to no avail it will not connect. Maybe this was done for a more universal fit? But this did not cause any uncomfort, does not cut the hand or anything like that therefore I won't let it effect the over all rating. Now here is the not so fun part of the review and that's for the holster... I bought this EXPENSIVE set up for the sole purpose of having a grip and rail system that I could holster into at the very least secure level 2 holster... this is absolutely the only thing on the market that allows this UNLESS you spend addition hundreds of dollars to get a laser max grip laser..... (too much laser in one sentence? :) anyways the holster functions but here are the down sides or work arounds you should be prepared to face which all in all only 1 is bad 1. Atleast out of the box it did not work with ANY attachments it was VERY VERY hard to holster and even more so to unholster so much so that ATTEMPTING to unholster would cause you to and I say this without any exaggeration you can pull the paddle completely off your pants (correct belt, tightness and all) without much effort * I will go into detail on this soon * Now as i'm writing this it has been a day and I have since propped the holster in such a way with one of my attachments (see pictures) to leviate the tension so that now with one of the flashlights atleast I can holster, and unholster it without activating the light (which has a bad habit of happening) and with time will make it work as should.. But I have considered and still am cutting the rubber pieces so that my attachment will straight up fit without hassle but i'm going to try this first as obviously this is a $60 holster and I won't be coming back from a cut like that 2. When holstering the rubber pieces do not "give in" easily they do not move, or adjust out of the way for whatever attachment to "slide by" and lock into the holster. It literally stops it from moving altogether meaning you won't be able to holster your gun with an attachment. After forcing it past the same happens when attempting to unholster, you hit the other end of the rubber and CANNOT get your gun out without taking your other hand and PRYING the rubber pieces apart to pull your gun out. You don't need me to tell you how uncomfortable and unreliable that is to your safety..... 3. There needs to be a list on what's just straight up compatible with this holster as far as attachemnts because out of the box my laser, laser+flash, and quick release flashlight do not function well with this holster. the issue is ALWAYS holstering and unholstering as well as accidental activation of attachments when forced in..... 4. Now here is the BIGGEST flaw and BIGGEST issue witht his PADDLE holster.... SOMEONE and ANYONE can simply walk up behind you GRIP the entire gun, or holster itself and just pull up and disarm you... Like seriously.... this is ridicalous... you can disarm yourself just trying to unholster the damn gun! The Paddle is the MOST unsecure paddle i've ever owned in my entire life and it is laughable. I cannot stress this enough this is horrible.... HOWEVER the only redeeming factor about this holster is that you can use it for what I hear ALL IMI attachments so personally i'll order the IMI Defense belt clip and test it (obviously it shouldn't go anywhere) and i'm sure that'll solve the biggest problem and maybe help others... That's the worst of it though. I'd like to speak on the holstering with attachments fix in greater detail Currently prying the rubber trigger guard outward by using the very attachment (for several hours atleast 12) it has taken away a ton of tension off and now I can slight the quick release flashlight on and off without a problem I have yet to try my laser+flash yet I'm going to leave it like this for some more hours and then try it. However I do believe I can modify the inside of the rubber pieces by cutting only the inside off so that the trigger is still somewhat guarded and IF I do this i'll update as well as show results in pictures.

Kinda gripy, nice and sleek and made from quality parts. I put it on my 1911 with a TLR and shot consistent groupings at 20yds

Poor quality control simple as that. One side of the mount fit perfectly screwed right on BUT the other side grip holes were about 1/16 off on both holes. Had to ream them out a bit THEN it bowed that side and jammed the slide when I installed the grip screws. With all this said I was able to get my small file and “fit” it so now the slide works smoothly. The laser/light fit the mount perfectly no problems. I may buy a different color unit and see if it fits better. I may have just got a “lemon ”

This product went on my SA Emp4 with a little fitting, not much for a average joe! Though its a bit long for the EMP 4 it still looks and feels great and actually saves the finish on your gun! Its a shooters preference but Probably best for Regular size commander an up. Im not sure the polymer/ plastic is the same as the GLS polymer material as on a glock but its good enough. One thing I did was cut out a space for the serial numbers to show because this will cover the #s on the gun, and "In a pinch" LE will not say please remove the grips so we can check the numbers to make sure this is your gun !!!!!

Q&Aの欄にも既に書き込みがありますが、マルイMEUピストルは同社M1911A1とはダストカバー周辺の形状が異なっているため、そのまま装着するとダストカバー周辺が反り返り不恰好になります(作動自体はできなくもないです)。 M1911A1には無加工装着が可能です。 ウォーリア･シリーズは後付けアンダーレイルを装着していますが、これはビス2本とフレームの穴でかみ合わせて固定されているだけなので、ビスを抜いてレイルを取り外せば装着可能です。 が、ウォーリア･シリーズは基本的にMEUのフレームにレイル用の穴を開けたものをベースにしていますので、無加工だとMEUと同様の症状が起きます。 これを回避するためにはダストカバー周辺をM1911A1と同等まで削り込むか(結構削る羽目になります)、M1911A1のフレームを入手してビーバーテール対応に加工するかのどちらかになります(ポリマー製のグリップを加工するのは大変なので除外しておきます)。 このグリップを装着することでダストカバー下部に20mmアンダーレイルが追加されますが、しかし基本的にこのグリップは専用ホルスター(Recover Tactical HC11)とのセット運用を想定して設計されていますので、ホルスターと併用をしないのであれば、実用上ではレイルの無いMEUはともかくウォーリア・シリーズに無理をして装着する利点はあまり無いと思って良いと思います(レイルがあるフルサイズが欲しいならナイトウォーリアでいいという話もありますし)。 とはいえ、仮にウォーリア・シリーズに装着する場合は加工部は外付けレイルの下に隠れる位置なので割とラフに削ってもレイルを付け直せば隠せます。 念のためレイルパーツの外淵部分をシャープペンシル等でなぞりガイド線を引いておくと良いでしょう。 なお、マルイ純正のグリップウェイトは当然ながら使えなくなりますので「オモチャか！？」と思うほど軽くなります(オモチャですけど)。 さておき。 まずこのグリップは装着するとグリップフレーム前部を覆うタイプなので若干前後に太くなります(1～2mm程度ですが)。 しかしトリガーにかかる人差し指や親指が当たる位置は薄く作られており、しっかりと握りこむことが出来ます。 また、右側パネル裏はアンビタイプのセフティにも対応するスリットが設けられています。 手にしっかりとフィットするグリップ感もなかなかですが、しかしやはり真価を発揮するのはホルスターHC11との併用でしょう。 お互いをセットで運用する前提で設計されていますので、ガッチリとした固定と素早いドロー、そしてアンダーレイル用アクセサリの装着を全て同時に実現できます。 私はナイトウォーリアへ装着しましたが、純正パネルのダブルスタック並みに横に厚いグリップよりこちらのほうが好みです。 難点を挙げるなら、トリガーガード～グリップ前面を丸ごと覆い隠すためハイグリップには向かない印象があるところでしょうか。マガジンキャッチ付近が3mmほど厚くなります。 余談ですがメーカーのWebサイトを見るに、このCC3Hのほか、CC3Pというグリップフレーム前部を覆わないタイプやスライダー交換式グリップパネル、可変ベルトクリップ搭載型パネル等面白いコンセプトのグリップが多数存在しているようです。 こちらもいずれ国内で入手できるようになると幅が広がって良いなぁ、と思うんですが、いかがでしょう？

I received the product missing a screw but after a couple days of communication with the seller this was resolved. They were very reasonable to deal with so I'm keeping at 5 stars. Any concerns with how cheap or flimsy it looks were immediately gone when opening them package and I was even more impressed with how it felt in the hand upon installation. Give it a shot! Not many options in aware of like this for the 1911's.

装着してもあまり太くならず手頃な握りやすさでグリップ性が良くなった感じです また取り付けるとガラッと印象があり変わります 当方マルイ70sに取り付けましたが加工等一切なくポン付け出来仕上がりもがたつき等無くかっちり決まるのでレーザーサイト等を取り付けてもなんら問題は無く使えます
