These are well made rings, with a smoothly finished surface, no rough spots to snag material (or fingers). Perfect size to insert a 30” wide width of fabric through and neatly sew down. If the rings were smaller you likely would have a hard knot of fabric at the top of the sling and a hard time getting the rest of the fabric fished through to secure it at the other end. I have only washed my linen sling once so far and it held up well in a top load washer. I prefer to line dry linen and iron while slightly damp. I made this for my daughter and I’m sure she will enjoy using it. I think I’ll make another larger one her hubby can use. What I like best is its a simple design that works! No complicated system of straps and buckles.

I was so glad to find these! They’re a great value for the price and they have been perfect for the 2 sling projects that I have made with them. They feel like they are very sturdy and good quality.
