I actually bought this capacitor about four years ago and kept it in the box just in case I ever needed it. That turned out to be a smart move when my AC unit suddenly would not start after some routine cleaning. I grabbed this replacement, took a quick photo to remember where the wires went for fan, herm, and common, and swapped it out. The whole process took maybe five minutes and was very straightforward. Our ac quit working. Found the part # after removing access panel. Ordered this part. Cut power to unit the night before the part was arriving to dissipate power from unit. Installed part one wire at a time, tested ok and ac working. Highly recommend part. Still working month later.

Installed in York AC on 5/26/26.Failed on 7/4/26. Probably failed fro another reason. AC Drain blocked.

This capacitor was a life saver, fit my ac unit perfect. The delivery was fast ( under 3 hours) and my ac unit is back up and running with Ice Cold air. I hope it last longer than the one I paid the service guy to replace 2 years ago, we will see, but I would definitely recommend this item

Have purchased other BOJACK Startup/run capacitor with no problems. Appears to be a quality replacement. Checked capacitance prior to installation. Always within tolerances. Good price and fast delivery.

Fixed the problem (fan not starting). The problem first looked like neither compressor nor fan starting, but that was just the compressor in thermal protection mode due the fan not starting.
