Solid lens protection
This UV protection filter is a nice, affordable way to protect a large camera lens. It fits securely and feels well made, with clean threading that goes on smoothly without any binding. The glass is clear with no noticeable impact on image quality in normal use. The multi-layer coating helps reduce glare and makes it easier to keep clean since smudges wipe off without much effort. Good value compared to similar filters from bigger camera brands. It does the job of protecting the lens while keeping image quality intact.

Slim Is Good…but hopefully not too slim
I previously purchased this filter in a different size and was highly impressed. The slim design makes it almost unnoticeable, but the filter is still of high quality. The filter functions well. I believe this slim design also helps in the reduction of any impact the filter may have on photo quality, and color accuracy. The filter may also adds a layer of lens protection, in case of unfortunate situations like accidentally bumping into an object. This in addition to reducing dust on the lens itself. The previous iteration of the filter (67mm) proved to be very durable ( as it still sits on my lens). My most recent purchase (December 2025) had to be replaced, as it apparently spontaneously shattered. I discovered this when I was retrieving my camera from its bag (Lowepro), and heard the jingle-jangle of broken glass. My lens cap was still perfectly attached, hence my befuddlement. Overall, a quality product, despite the unfortunate occurance.

Just a great all around product
I have these on at all times because they barely darken anything. Meaning high light transmission. I had to really look at some scopes to find a difference. I gave up and just assumed any light loss is meaningless. For sharpness, stopped down in the sweet spot with the new Sigma Art lenses, I can't tell a difference on my 42 mp camera. My Tamron 35-150 is pretty much perfect for 42 and 61 mp sensors, and its the same. Even the g masters my friends have shown it is pretty much the same with or without it. But, I can tell better contrast and micro contrast with landscape and city shape. It's basically dehaze in camera. And, a bit of clarity. I have had photography friends what I'm doing in editing to get clearer images, and it is using these and a cpl if I need to. Also, my lenses are expensive. They're insured but I would die if a front element got scratched. I work a lot of events and shoot video in weird places. Many years ago, I did actually trip and my Sigma 85 hit a rock. I didn't want to look. Luckily the lens was perfect and this filter took the hard scratch. Ever since, I buy knf concept nanox uvs for all my lenses. I spend the bit of extra money because the lens sharpness is intact. Color is all there. Dehaze in a filter. And, if a tragedy were to happen, I am out like $40 over $2,000. Or waiting forever for my replacement and insurance claim to go through.

Great protective filter
I get these to protect my lens optics and this is my goto brand. Hasn't let me down yet. I'm sure I could get less expensive options but these are great quality.

Mild green ghosting when shooting into bright lights, but minimal effect on image quality otherwise
First off, a disclaimer: I'm a hobbyist and not a professional/pixel-peeper who absolutely needs the best image quality. Most of my images end up on social media where they can't even be uploaded at full resolution, so having flawless image quality is not completely necessary for me. That being said, I obviously don't want to degrade the quality noticeably, considering I own sharp lenses. My main goal with using UV filters is to protect my lenses from the elements, including fingerprints, dust/dirt, and add some additional weatherproofing (as I mainly shoot outdoors, like on hikes). It's so much easier to clean these flat multicoated UV filters than it is to clean curved lenses, especially those that don't have high-end coatings. Even if these cause minor image quality degradation, I would be willing to live with that to gain the advantages of protecting my lenses and easier cleaning. Fingerprints slide right off of these thanks to the coatings, which you usually can't get with other brands unless you spend a lot more money (e.g. Hoya, B+W). I took a number of test photos with and without the filter to try and find any obvious quality loss. I couldn't spot anything blatant, even on the edges, which is good enough for me. The only obvious issue with these filters is the ghosting when shooting directly into bright light sources, like the sun or lightbulbs. These have very noticeable green ghosting that isn't present without the filter when shooting the exact same light sources (tested on multiple lenses). I usually try to avoid shooting at bright lights, but it may be unavoidable for certain situations, so please consider this before you buy this filter. I haven't used more expensive filters so I don't know if this is simply an unavoidable downside of using ANY filters, but I'm assuming it's pretty common with any filter brand. However, the blue/green tint is a little distracting from these specific filters. It's not worth returning them over, but I'll need to keep this in mind and remove them if I find myself in a situation where ghosting could be an issue. Otherwise, these are great for the money and offer solid protection without causing a big hit to image quality.

Great UV filter that provides excellent lens protection
I put the K&F 95mm MC UV Filter on a 180-200 zoom lens to provide some protection for the glass at the front of the lens. I have noticed no odd coloring or decrease in sharpness when using this filter and I was quite happy with it. I got back from a photo shoot in pouring rain and when hurriedly pulling my camera backpack out of the back of my truck, I accidentally knocked the 180-200 lens (in a dust cover only) out of the backseat of my truck. It fell about 3-1/2 feet to concrete and landed with the lens and filter pointing down. It bent the filter ring in about 1/16 of an inch, knocking the filter lens out of the filter ring but the filter lens was intact. The filter ring was still in place on the lens but the front ring of the lens was also bent, but the lens glass was intact and undamaged. I had to send the lens to the manufacturer to have the filter ring removed and the front lens ring repaired, but the filter really helped to prevent major damage to the lens. I immediately went and bought a second K&F 95mm MC UV Filter and put it on the lens when I got the lens back from the manufacturer. I also bought a padded case for the lens. The attached photo was taken with the 180-200 lens with the K&F filter on the lens. The photo was compressed down from 50MB to 1MB, so any loss of sharpness is due to compression, not the filter.

Really Nice Filter
Unlike some people I believe that a UV filter is a must on a lens for the protection it provides and for the ability to decrease atmospheric haze and glare. But having said that I also believe that the filter must be of high quality with good coatings so that it does not negatively impact your photos. I think that this filter meets these requirements. I have run some simple test taking the same photo with & without the filter and see no negative impact from the filter. The filter is also a good quality filter from a construction perspective and I see it lasting and providing a useful function for a long time, and for a good price.

Very decent filter for a reasonable price.
Received the filter in a nicely wrapped package. The make of this filter is of high quality. Metal ring is made of hard metal and does not jam on the lens thread. No vignetting on my 18mm fujinon (28mm equiv). No color cast. Cleans easily. It does a very good job protecting the lens and adds no hassles at all.
