Perfect for a high mileage vehicle.
I have an older Toyota Corolla with nearly 300,000 miles that had a leaky strut. I didn’t want to spend $1200 to have a shop put new ones in so I took a chance at these. They are terrific! I did the work myself and everything came together perfectly. Cost me $146 and an afternoon and now this old car rides so nice without bouncing down the road. Perfect for a high mile, lower value car that still has life left. The struts/spring combo (front end) are solid and really support the car well. Definitely a bargain!

Good Budget Replacement
With 4k miles of daily driving over the past 2 months, these struts have been good so far. There was some bad front end rattle, the original struts had 185k miles on them, so it was time. These were a nice direct swap with no issues. Got the kit with the end links as well since everything was original on the suspension.

Normal effort to install. Follow You Tube video
The struts required normal effort to install. There are several You Tube videos that are helpful.I recommend an air ratchet and a torque wrench.

Warranty Is a Joke — Avoid This Product
I bought this Detroit Axle Front Strut and Sway Bar Kit for my 2006 Toyota Corolla thinking the 10-year warranty meant something. Turns out it doesn’t. The struts completely failed after just 2.5 years, and Detroit Axle made it nearly impossible to get any support.I tried calling them multiple times and was stuck on hold forever. When I messaged them through Amazon, they told me the only way to process a warranty claim was by phone which, again, was nearly impossible to get through. When I finally did reach someone, they told me I needed to pay a mechanic to diagnose and prove the failure. When I pushed back, they said I needed to film all four corners of my car and then call back again (and wait on hold again). After days of trying to get them to honor their warranty, I’m done. Detroit Axle does not stand behind their products. The warranty is essentially worthless if you're an average consumer without time and money to jump through their hoops. Save yourself the hassle and buy from a company that actually supports its customers.
