I can say with confidence that when people have a poor experience with this stuff it's because they're not understanding how slowly it works. It needs heat to jumpstart the enzyme and reapplying heat periodically helps At work. But it is chewing in slow motion through blockage and it can take a full week to clear out a mainline sewer drain that is clogged with paper and human waste and some animal grease. If you have someplace you can go for several days and you want to try this you absolutely should. I have a basement drain and it's where my washer hooks up so I have access to hot water from a spigot that I can run directly into the drain. I poured the jug right in there having figured out using a plumbing guide where the blockage likely was so that I could run hot water upstream and then pour in the jug. Then I went away for six days. You could use compost toilet or porta potty for 6 days too. But it needs a long time to do the job. Think if you were asking bleach to eat a hole in fabric it will definitely do it but it takes hours. If you have a blockage that is several inches thick it's going to take that kind of time and more so. I went back mid week and ran more hot water down the pipe to jumpstart the enzymes again because they work much faster in a warmer but not boiling temperature. It's not Drano so if you're looking for that kind of speed you will think you've poured a jug of water down there and wasted your money. But if you can wait a long time you will be amazed because it cleared a clog for me that kept reappearing after it was roto rooted. I think a bunch of leaves had gotten in the basement stairwell drain and crumbled up over the course of the winter so the crumbled mulch also went into the sewer drain and I think that was the killer that finally plugged it up entirely. That this enzyme could clear that is pretty amazing.

Had what I believed to be a mainline issue in my 1BA house and figured I’d try this before calling a plumber. Applied right before bed (3/4 down the toilet, 1/4 in the tub) - ran fully hot water in the tub & flushed the toilet a few times in the morning, and to my GREAT RELIEF everything started draining. Grabbing another bottle so I have it on standby.

It worked - required an over night dosage and time line. Not the 30 minutes as indicated on the label. Therefore a 4 star review. Just use this product as directed and let it sit OVERNIGHT in your drain pipes. The longer time line matters! A 1-2 second spin of this product in the garbage disposal helps to distribute the product and clean the inside of the disposal. In the morning run some hot water to flush your system. Follow this with a water flush for a few minutes and your pipes are clean from years of misuse and abuse like we did. I plan to use this product for ongoing maintenance of the kitchen sink/disposal pipes. Highly recommended when using the over night time line and hot water flush method.

I have been using this product for years. It's so easy to use and it gets the job done. I normally allow the product to sit in my drains ( kitchen, shower, bathroom sinks) overnight and then follow the manufacturer's instructions. My drains are clear after each use.

I wasn’t impressed overall. It didn’t stink and eventually worked but it seemed to take a long time and multiple treatments. I’ll stick with the big names next time.

Works great and is a good choice for the environment! Pro tip: be generous with your pours, let them sit over night. For sinks, engage the stopper and fill the sink all the way full with HOT water. Then disengage the stopper. This will provide the best results. I’ve used several of their products several times and this is really the way to go. I pour it down my shower drain too which helps also.

I bought this product for a clogged garbage disposal in my kitchen sink; I had overloaded it with Brussels sprout trimmings and must have clogged the filter. I searched on Amazon for a chemical solution, after exhausting a number of old hot water tricks I've used numerous times in the past. Upon reading the reviews on this product, the great majority of which were very positive, I purchased one 64 oz. bottle. When it arrived, I immediately used it as directed on the label, noticing there was no unpleasant smell at all, and waited. No results at all for 24 hours, so, as directed, I applied a second treatment to the drain. No results, again, after 12 hours, but I noticed that a course gel substance slowly growing in the water; I figured it was the microbes eating up everything in the drain. I decided to turn the disposal on and after about 2 minutes, there was a tiny burst of that gel material and the clogged water swiftly went down the drain. I ran my very hot water down the drain, as directed, and all has been well since. I didn't mind the amount of time it took to free up the clog; first, I was prepared for that from reading the product reviews and following the simple instructions; second, I was highly pleased that it is an environmentally friendly and I have extremely curious pets to be concerned about; and lastly, I was using it in a way that was never specifically stated in the product description, but it definitely came through one hundred percent in the end. I also noticed how very clean it left my stainless steel sink afterwards, made me slightly embarrassed by my own cleaning efforts on it, so bonus application as well. I plan to continue using this product and will surely recommend it to others, if time is not a concern.

First of all, you have to know that my husband & I are senior citizens that live on a limited income. So we don't have money to hire a plumber when we have a problem with the pipes. And both of us are handicap, with my husband having open heart surgery recently. Just wanted you to know why I was really hoping that this drainage opener would work for us. We have 2 bathrooms in my house, one on each end of the house. The bathroom that I call my bathroom was the one that gave us trouble. When I flushed it, the water did not go all the way down. I tried it several times with no luck. Then I plunged and plunged it with no luck. So I got here on Amazon looking for something that might unstop my toilet. This product had the best reviews and also sounded as if it would be easy for me to use. I was so excited to get it. Well I did as the instructions suggested. I poured the whole container down the toilet and let it sit for 24 hours. After 24 hours I boiled some water on the stove and poured it into the toilet and flushed. Still no luck. So several more times I boiled water and tried to flush it down the toilet. Then my husband told me that my tub was probably part of the problem because the toilet & the tub drain were connected together. So I got back on Amazon and ordered another container. This time when I got it I poured some down the tub drain and the rest down the toilet. Again I waited 24 hours, boiled water, poured it down the toilet and down the tub drain. Toilet still would not flush. I plunged both the toilet and the tube drain and still no luck. So next I came back here and ordered two more containers. One container for the toilet and one for the tub drainage. Once again I waited 24 hours, poured boiled water down both the toilet and the tub drain--and plunged and plunged with no results. For hours after that I kept pouring boiled water down the toilet and down the tub drain. By then I was crying because I had no idea what we were going to do because we just did not have the money to pay a plumber. I also have a medical problem that makes me a prisoner of my bathroom so it was almost a medical necessity for me to have the use of my bathroom. Finally a friend of mine had her husband to come over and crawl under our house and take the pipe apart that went to my bathroom. My husband could not do this because of his heart condition. What he found was a wad of toilet tissue plugging up the pipe. Now I have never put anything down my toilet but toilet paper so that made sense about what he found. I just don't understand why this drainage opener did not work after all the good reviews that I found and with all the bottles of it bought. If this had worked, I would have ordered some to keep for a maintenance dose--using one about every 2 months. I am so disappointed.

So the block we had was going to be potentially problematic but wanted to give this a try. Unfortunately the blockage didn’t shift we have to rethink the plan. However this doesn’t mean the product doesn’t work I have still got faith in it ..... the company could not have been better when we spoke they were amazing and offered solutions and gave me a full refund as I wasn’t 100% satisfied, could you really ask for anything else. I will for sure use the green gobbler again for other clogs and blocks and recommend always. Thank you

Really got excited with this product.. had a clog for the past 6-8 months .. Tried many ways and finally this. Applied overnite, tried a flush in the morning but was not satisfied. But after a couple of hours, to our surprise the clog got removed completly..

Inoltre: anche il bagno sembra essere sullo stesso tubo perché anche lì l'acqua è andata velocemente alla doccia successiva! Grande! Adesso farò tutte le altre in cui l'acqua non è defluita bene. Per fortuna ho ordinato 2 flaconi insieme!// After we had several guests for over a year, some bidets, sinks and showers were not working well anymore and I was scared to threw hairs and stuff in there even though we asked them not to do so. Tried the Green Gobbler Ultima already for a bidet where the water took for ages to go, left the product for 24 hours and than rinsed with hot water: it went away like a dream! What's more: also the bath seems to be on the same tubing as there also the water went quickly at the next shower! Great! I am now going to do all others where the water did not flow away well. Luckily I ordered 2 bottles at once!
