It's all about family
Sam and Joey certainly got their share of bad family. But, now they have each other and their found family. Loved it.

Cute
Short, sweet, with just the right amount of action to not make the story too sweet and a very happily ever after.

Sweet m/m romance
Joey is a bartender at The Gates well liked, hard working and private. Sam is a police officer interested in Joey, but Joey has secrets making him afraid to date Sam. First of all Joey has a serious chronic disease and his estranged grandfather is a big time mafia don. Sam and Joey work out the illness but are surprised when the grandfather has Joey kidnapped to provide a kidney for his son. Lots of danger, secrets, love and friendships make for a satisfying read.

Joey 💚 Sam
M.Tasia is an automatic 1 click author for me...she definitely didn’t disappoint with Joey. The fourth book of the Gates of Heaven series brings us Joey, the bartender who will make you want to wrap him in a huge hug. Sam is a police officer, we get a glimpse of him as he shows interest in Joey at a party in book 3. Both men have fought their pasts but they’ve been left with deep trust issues that cause a misunderstanding which forces Joeys hand in revealing a personal issue. I loved their story

Joey
This book was as Remarkable and Loving as the rest of Michelle’s books. There was a slight twist to this one that had me bawling (you have to read it to find out) but the Love, in the face of adversity, jumped off of the pages and it can be felt as if it is you who were going thru and feeling it. I can’t wait for her next book.

Truth, love, and trust wins in the end
What to do when you find 'The One' and the life he knows is built on a lie?Joey is in a predicament that no one can know the truth about. The completely smitten Sam is LAPD. What can possibly go wrong there?A rocky start turned out to be the nest decision both men ever made. Took a lot of trust, lowering of walls, dedication to their love, and strength for what was to come.**I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.**

Joey and Sam
I may have my new favorite book couple of the series. Joey and Sam just have that something special. At one point I was ugly crying but it was a good ugly cry if that makes any sense. I really love the series and I can’t wait for her next installment!!

One of those books
This was one of those books for me where I had a hard time putting it down. Joey and his sweet nature and Sam and his calm nature. Truths spoken and all the while a unique bond of love is formed.

4.5 Stars Another great book to the series.
A great start to the book as all the previous books I'd read. I could hugged Joey and that was in the beginning chapters. A beautiful story although Joey holds back a secret of who he is. A drama filled ending with danger included.Joey 28 was a bartender and hiding his background secrets. Joey couldn't date a cop, especially Sam for one or more reasons.
