Cire Trudon Women's Abd El Kader Candle, Moroccan Mint Tea, 9.5 Ounce (Pack of 1)

Cire Trudon candles are the best. They burn evenly, never get sooty, and I'm sure they last longer than 60 hours! I've tried many luxury brands that are more popular but found weak throw, tunneling, soot and short burn time made me feel like I was ripped off. These candles are expensive, at least I feel like I'm getting what I paid for! Luxury candles that don't require constant care (do trim the wick, though) and make my house smell delicious. I've tried three scents so far and like them all. Ernesto is my favorite so far.

We purchased this candle previously and just recently purchased two new ones. While on the expensive side, the pleasant aroma emitted from the candle is well worth the price. We have an open floor plan and the kitchen, living room and dining room are all transformed from the bouquet of just one of these candles. We keep it on the hutch in our dining room and even when not lit, you can smell the fragrance beyond the dining room area. The candle also lasts a long time.

Complicated, sophisticated, warm and intoxicating. This candle is my wife's and my go-to for special nights and parties. We still get compliments about it. It's rich and clean with an obvious separation in notes making it complicated but not overwhelming. The scent is perfect but yes, it's pretty expensive. Not really meant for your regular odor cover-up.

Feel in love with this candle maker and it is worth every penny. They have the science down for unique smells that last a long time. We have tried 4 of the "flavors" and love each of them. The story behind each flavor/smell tells how they came up with the smell and it is a great read into the care the thought they did behind each candle. Nice splurge that yu won't regret.. go ahead and try it!!

This is my second purchase of this candle in Carmelite. The first arrived with no issues. This time it is a different supplier and the price increased $10.00. The seal was broken on the one side of the box and the candle jar has wax and fingerprint smears on it. The candle inside was fine so I am not returning it. At this price point I expect perfection. If this was a gift, I would be embarrassed to present it in this condition. As for the candle, it burns nicely and smells incredible even when not burning. The scent does not take over but let’s you know it’s there. The box also retains the wonderful earthy fragrance. It also burns all the way to the bottom with only a trace of wax left. I hate spending so much on a candle but this scent is one of a kind. Very addicting and I absolutely love it!

Honestly the best $100 you will spend to make any room smell delishly haunted by the scents of what I imagine a cathedral during the medieval times would emit. I have burned this candle in my studio, and it will fill the room with this gorgeous scent. I am also someone who is sensitive to perfumes, and have no issues with this candle whatsoever. Needless to say the only candle I will burn in my home is this one. It's truly transcendant and decadent.

I'm pretty underwhelmed by this candle. After all the ecstatic reviews I found that while it smells wonderful in the box, this scent has virtually no detectable throw. I can only catch a whiff if I leave it burning a good while and then enter a room- and then just barely. It was so unimpressive I thought I might've gotten a fake, but that seems unlikely. It's also burning very very quickly, which is unexpected. I've had voluspa candles that burned twelve hours with an inch left in the glass but this thing was a third gone in 90 minutes. For the cost this is really unacceptable. I recommend the Archipelago Botarico de Havana if you want that good leather/tobacco smell.
