Lemon and Sage Body Butter Moisturizer Cream - 6.7 Fl Oz - Non-Greasy

Obsessed with Bliss body lotion. It really is like butter on the skin and makes me feel refreshed and replenished! Not sticky or overly thick. Absorbs well and smells amazing! Safe ingredients too

The Bliss Naked Body Butter is a good basic body moisturizer that worked well for my slightly dry skin. It's a great option for a fragrance free drugstore-priced moisturizer, but it doesn't match the claims the brand makes. First, I am quite confused by the name. While Bliss calls it `body butter`, the consistency is more like a lotion; I would call it more `custard` or `soufflé` like than `butter` like. It's an elegant texture, I love it; but it's not a body butter. The lotion gets absorbed very fast into the skin, so I can get dresses almost immediately. I personally feel it leaves a powdery finish to the skin. Since it gets absorbed very fast, I feel like I use a lot of product each time (I run out of the Bliss Naked Body Butter quite fast); it's still drugstore priced, but I don't get too much use out of it. This needs to be available in a larger tube. Second, while it leaves skin soft and smooth, I don't see it as a good option for very dry skin. I have slightly dry skin, with dermatitis like dry patches sometimes, and this body lotion is great for maintaining skin moisture (with daily application). But If I have a severe dry patch (rough & scaly), I need something more hydrating and smoothing. I tend to get keratosis pilaris on my arms and chest, I didn't feel this lotion to clog my pores/skin too much. I avoid fragrances in my body care so I like to find another fragrance free option at drugstore prices. If I want to smell of something, I'll use a perfume on my hair or clothes; fragrances are too irritating and damaging for the skin. Like most fragrance free products it has a slight scent, a mix of chemical and herbal; but it's subtle and mine didn't smelled rancid (like others mentioned). The squeeze tube dispenses the product well and the tube was sealed with a aluminium foil patch upon delivery.

I love this stuff. I’ve been using it for a decade, since having it at a fancy hotel I stayed at. It’s a thick hand cream that doesn’t leave a heavy film on your hands at all. No greasiness or waxy feeling, and it lasts. The smell is light with citrus that doesn’t smell like a kitchen cleaner (as some lemon scented products do.) It’s super pleasant and is my favorite hand lotion. It’s worth the money, and the best scent Bliss has, IMO.

Make sure you thin it out by rubbing it between your hands before slathering all over your body. If you don't it pills horrifically, reminds me of putting glue on your skin in elementary school and peeling it off. Super irritating to have it roll off in huge chunks. Might be the squalane. Smells slightly like sulfur acne treatments I use, not at all pleasant. Even with all that, I will list this as one of my essentials. I have terrible KP, all over my body. I have had some improvement with a new body wash and a silicone exfoliating brush with every shower, and making sure I switch to super loose clothing as soon as I get home. It's better, my skin is comfortable. I tried it first on my arms, shoulders to wrists. After a couple of uses, my KP has been cut in half. Not half the amount, it's just half as bumpy? If that makes sense. My skin is much smoother, the KP is less raised. When I shower, my exfoliating brush removes twice what it typically does. I haven't had this result with prescription lactic acid lotions and body washes. The smell doesn't last long. When it's absorbed the lotion is fragrance free. It does have almost a sting on the first application. That could have also been due to the fact that KP bumps can have the "caps" of keratin come off and leave a bit of an open wound. My 2nd application had less sting and all subsequent uses were no different than any other lotion. My skin looks better, feels softer, and is overall more comfortable under my clothes.

This is a really nice lotion it says that it's a body butter but it's definitely has a consistency closer to a lotion. It's still nice and thick very creamy it has really good spreadability so it rubs in easily and it absorbs quickly. Does not leave you greasy or tacky at all absorbs super quick into the skin and it leaves your skin very soft and nicely moisturized. As for the scent I usually am not fond of citrus smells or food smells in general I usually like nature smells a lot better but I have to say that the lemon sage is just delicious it smells wonderful. It also leaves a nice fragrance behind not crazy overpowering so that it's all you smell but just a nice light fragrance. I've been looking for like a general use daily lotion for a while and I've tried quite a few different brands and this is by far my favorite, it leaves my skin soft moisturized without feeling like I've just put lotion on and it absorbs more quickly than other lotions that I've tried which I like a lot. It's also a pretty good value it's not crazy expensive and you get a good size bottle I also ordered the matching body wash and the bliss face wash after trying the lotion because I was so happy with the product. Overall if you want to try a new lotion I seriously doubt you would be disappointed with this I would definitely recommend giving it a try.

I have been using this for about a week. I still have red dots on my arms and legs, but they do seem much smoother. I’m hopeful I would continue to see progress if I decide to keep using this product. Now, the real issue that I don’t know if I can handle is the SMELL. I know it is “fragrance free”, but the first time I used it, I was immediately reminded of the plastic canisters at my Granny’s house that have started to decompose. You know that old, musty plastic smell? That’s what this smells like. My daughter says it smells like maple syrup mixed with dirty socks and old wood. I don’t think it’s quite that bad, but she has a more sensitive smeller than I do. My husband claims not to be able to smell it at all, which I’m not sure how that’s even possible. If you don’t mind smelling weird for awhile, this is probably a good product.

Having Alpha Gal, I have to shop carefully for safe products. Bliss is my favorite brand for lotions and the lemon sage scent is divine! So clean and very moisturizing.

I have very sensitive skin, but this product soothes my skin. Non greasy and it absorbed immediately leaving my skin smooth. The price is alright for me considering that some cheap or expensive ones which I tried does not works well for me. Will definitely buy again!

This is a lovely body cream, very rich and thick, with a beautiful fragrance.

Ich habe diese Bodylotion über Instagram entdeckt. Da Sie ebenfalls von Peta beworben wurde (#crueltyfree), habe ich sie hier bestellt. Schnell kam sie auch zu Hause an. Sie ist zwar relativ teuer aber hat einen angenehmen, zitronigen Duft und zieht schnell ein. Die Haut fühlt sich danach gut an und nichts klebt. Ich bin sehr zufrieden und würde sie wieder bestellen.

I have nothing negative to say about the product, but there was suppose to be a smaller version of it included as a gift and I did not receive it. Very disappointing. I have no idea who I would contact to get it.
