Works hard even in the frost and snow. I don't have a pond as such, more of a shallow dew pond but it keeps it aerated and the birds love it. Even on low light days it will come on for a short period if the battery has a bit of charge from previous sunshine. Don't expect miracles, it isn't going to produce three foot high plumes, but it is a lovely sparkly addition if you do have a water feature.My only gripe is that the pump does need to be kept clear so it will need to be checked for weed and bits getting sucked in. That in itself isn't hard, but mine came glued to the base at a very awkward angle, which then involved taking a knife to it break it a bit, but it has been fine for over six months now, so I thought it worth writing a review, as I don't see the point doing one on the day it arrives!

The media could not be loaded.  These are fab little fountains! I had bought 2 and the first one began working right away as soon as I put in in water. Initially I thought the second one was broken as it didn't begin when put in the water. I followed the steps on the amazon listing and it began working perfectly. Would be good if the instructions for this could be included in the box. Very good though and I have already recommended them to others.

It is a great fountain for our shallow bowl. It is about about 30cm high.It works well in low light, but like any solar fountains I've tried, it struggled in continuous dull weather. But that u=is to be expected.

Both this to put in an old bird bath to make a fountain feature. Works ok, but it needs to be stuck down & not floating. The junction pads,work sometimes. It's been very windy and that means the water does not go back into the bird bath so therefore doesn't recycle. We had to keep filling it. However in a deeper & bigger base ( a small pond) this should work fine. Easy to set up and does look.attractive.

I wanted a little solar fountain for my bird bath and this is perfect. Put it in and off it goes. It seems quite good at working when there is only hazy sunshine and I'm sure the battery helps. This fountain, so far, works all day. I would give it 5 stars but the pin mechanism to turn the pump on and off sometimes gets stuck. On the whole I love it.

Does exactly what it said it would do, just wish I could turn the jet down as it goes outside of the bird bath and runs out of water

It is fair to say, this product takes a lot of maintenance. It clogs very easily: often there is sand or dust in the rain, as well as other garden bits that get blown into the water. If there is a wind, all the water in the reservoir soon gets emptied. It needs inspection everyday. When working it is pretty though.
