TECHEFArt Pan Collection, Soup Pot With Glass Lid, Made in Korea (3.7-quart)

The media could not be loaded. I got it a few days ago only used this pan twice and I am also giving it five stars right off the bat. The design and features on this pan are excellent. I like that they even put a little design in the middle of the pan showing you the amount of oil to use. This frying pan is attractive and it was very well thought out. the pan has some nice weight to it well-balanced. I initially started off with the Techef stir fry wok pan and that also did excellent right out the box . I am in the process of ordering the 8 inch frying pan, 12 inch frying pan, omelette pan and all the lids that go to all the pans.When you know you got something that's built solid, attractive and reliable you go for the rest and I believe the price is set right under $170 for 5 top notch pans and 4 uniquely designed lids. These pans are one of the best pans I have used yet. I have tried a few sets of nonstick pans and none were as solid or work as well as the Techef right out the box. My only complaint is that they don't have pots to go with the pans. Techef can you work on that please.Important note and info:This item does not contain the possible cancer causing PFOA in which the teflon brand had. Dupont no longer uses PFOA in the teflon brand.Update 3/9/17The 4 pans one soup pot I own from Tchef are two years old and used regularly. I keep wondering... When will the non-stick fail? The pans still working like new. Two years with a non-stick surface pan is dam good. Usually I will have to get new non-stick pans within a year. These pans still look great even after the beating My wife, daughter and I give it. All of us cooking almost daily in one or two of the pans.

I got the 12" & 8" pan as a gift & loved them enough to buy the 10" pan. They clean easily & are non stick. Also they have the 3 tbsp measurements for oil in center of pan for easy measurement. Recommend

I use a small frying pan for cooking eggs for me and my girls frequently. I've put off buying a new one for a while, partially because most of them that are less than $50 are barely worth a penny. I also learned that no non-stick will last more than a year or two with heavy use. Reading reviews of another brand led me to this one. Why doesn't everyone know about them?!It cooks evenly and smoothly. I know some reviewers have mentioned it's not flat on the bottom, but that wasn't my experience at all. Perfectly flat, as the pictures show (with oil in the center and not budging, and with oil spread around and not moving or pooling anywhere). I suppose it might be a bit of luck on production runs or shipping issues with warping. And of course one has to be truly certain their stove is level too.All I know is I would recommend this to anyone and intend on buying this brand again in a heartbeat!UPDATE: It's now been about 10 months since I bought this pan. It gets used almost every single day. And let me tell you it is in pristine condition. Essentially, the same as the moment I took it out of the box. I use the teensiest bit of oil when cooking, nothing ever sticks at all. I hand wash it with a regular sponge. But no kidding folks, almost daily use for 10 months. I will replace all my cookware with this brand as needed for sure!

I have had many 8 inch non-stick pans. The last one just hit the dust after not too long, and I began a new search.I saw this one and was drawn to the color, the exact size I needed, and the product details. Now, I have had insufficient time to talk about the longevity, etc., but I do have positive comments to share.First, lovers of all things purple or variations will like this. Photos online do it justice, or maybe my monitor is pretty good, or a combination of both. The coating does have a kind of iridescence to the aubergine/eggplant color, just like it looks on my monitor. Love it when that happens!Next, it has a higher side than all the others I have had - almost exactly 2 inches! No big deal, you say? Yes, big deal. I have previously flipped an easy-over egg and had its semi-liquid part fly out of the pan. Somehow the higher side prevented this, and I'm so happy about that.Weight of the pan is good, feels very substantial, with excellent balance between the handle and the pan. It sits evenly upon my range's electric coils, which means it cooks evenly.To test the way it transferred the heat, I sliced some potatoes, added coconut oil, and cooked them before eggs. I decided to be patient and use only one notch above medium for this because the instructions reminded us to not overheat. The potatoes were golden and cooked through very nicely, and the eggs were perfect.Cooking both potatoes, which are starchy and can burn if not treated properly, and the more delicate eggs that cook so quickly and need attention to be just right, has indicated to me that this pretty pan will be perfect for anything else that is just right for a little pan. I have high hopes for this and am thinking I will add another size to my collection.Verdict? I am surprised to be writing this rav review about this pan because - up until now - I have been a raving fan of Circulon... which has been my staple for years. However, after I had to throw out my fav Circulon because it had finally had it ... I decided to try something new.I am delighted with this TeChef for several reasons. It is light weight, it cooks food beautifully and it is definitely non-stick. In addition, it was reasonably priced.I have cooked eggs, omelots, burgers, sauteed vegetables, and fried foods in it. All with excellent results.Thrilled I bought it and may actually consider getting the next size up, too.Update-Been several months since I purchased this fry pan and I have to say - now more than ever, this is my fav fry pan. Just tried one of my earlier fav pans for dinner and was shocked at how much everything stuck to it, and was hard to wash off. TheTeChef cooks food beautifully without sticking... and cleans up easily!LOVE IT!

Hace unos meses me cambié a un cast iron, amo cocinar en el pero el cuidado que se le tiene que dar es demasiado y quería un sartén que pudiera usar diario y fuera fácil de lavar.Este sartén superó mis expectativas, tengo 2 semanas usándolo diario hasta 3 veces al día y todo parece indicar que va a durar! No se le pega nada y el color morado no es escandaloso. Estoy pensando adquirí otro.

Quality of the soup pot is better than most other products in similar price range. I bought both 2Q and 3,7Q sizes.It is on the small side, that makes it perfect for smaller meals. I have a gas range, so far there has been no discoloration on the side. It may sound strange, but the pot is beautiful to look at, so I used it as a serving vessel as well.

Le meilleur achat que j'ai fait! Les poêlons The Chef sont une merveille à utiliser. Un soupçon d'huile et rien ne colle. Les viandes grillent et restent juteuses. Je n'en revenais pas! Avec le couvercle assorti, les légumes cuisent dans très peu de liquide et les plats braisés sont délicieux!
