quality seat, the last one you'll need before boosters. a back saver!
forgot to write a review. This was the car seat we bought after our newborn out grew the infant seat. My child is 3 now, and we still use this daily. Could not recommend more, this seat is a life saver for loading children into a sedan or low SUV. Now that we have a minivan, the swivel isn't needed. But the fact that one carseat can do both rear/front means this will be the last carset you need before you need to graduate to a booster seat. 2-3 years of constant use should speak for the quality and solidity of this. We actually bought a second. The seat is a little heavy, so moving between cars is a challenge. We also had trouble securing the hooks/buckles in certain rentals (nissan altima /chevy impala IIRC). This seems to fit fine in Toyotas, multiple model Siennas, Corollas, and Camrys. The issue is in certain seats, the part where you buckle the seat into the car frame is "higher" on certain models or the seat well is too shallow, and this causes the belt tension release to press against one of the covers. We mitigated this by placing some folded towels under the seat. And we didn't care because the seat fits fine in our primary cars.

Great car seat, tricky to install
I really struggled with installing this and had to get professionals to help me. They explained the way the bench in my car worked it wasn't a good fit for having it in the middle, though i'm sure this varies by vehicle. If it's important to you to have your car seat in the middle seat and you don't have an SUV, i'd go with something else. We now have it installed on the side and it's been wonderful. The swivel has been a big relief for my back, and I don't feel I had to make sacrifices safety wise for it like I did with other swivel seats I researched. Our daughter appears very comfortable, the straps move smoothly and hold her firmly in place, and the sensor-safe works extremely well (though I needed the pros to show me where to plug that in too!). Unfortunately kiddo vomited in it ,but we found it very easy to clean! Everything came off the base and went back on easily and washed right out the first try. When the seat swivels, the leg pops up which can be unsettling but once the seat is locked in place (forward or rear facing) it isn't going anywhere. I'm grateful for all of the visual reminders indicating the seat is installed properly because we moved our front seat and it knocked the support leg off kilter. I noticed right away because of the color coding indicators at the top. Very glad we chose this car seat!

Danger danger
I purchsed four of these in black from Amazon and another 4 in beige from the cybex website. All four of the beige ones are faulty. After less than two weeks, the shoulder straps are able to be pulled loose by a toddler WITHOUT the button being depressed. The kids have gotten loose while we are on the highway...! I have contacted the company every way that I know how about this MASSIVE defect. They have not replied once. I don't know how else to communicate with them other than though these comments now. I hope others will see and take care. These car seats start out perfect, so easy and lovely, but within a few weeks this safety defect develops! It has yet to happen with the black models. I used to be a huge Cybex fan, all my car seats for 6 years and all of my strollers for 6 years have been this brand, but between the utter lack of addressing this critical issue and the danger itself I will never purchase again.

Fits in a 2 door car and still allows you to get baby out!
This is a must have car seat. I have 9 month old who had grown out of the carrier/ base combo type of car seat, and needed to purchase a new car seat. I have a 2010 2 door Camaro. You have to flip the seats front forward to get to the back. I purchased a traditional rear facing car seat. Since there was no way to get to the side of the traditional rear facing car seat, there was no way to get my daughter out. I went looking for a solution. The Cybex Sirona S, is truly a miracle seat. It only has to be installed once and can be switched from rear facing to forward facing as needed by pressing a recessed area at the front of the seat. This allows you to completely turn the seat around to get your child out. You will have to stretch your arm a bit towards the front of the seat to do this. By using the same recessed button, one can also increase or decrease the angle. The seat also has a stability leg that stabilized the seat. It has a safety feature that will use the Bluetooth on your phone and a plug that gets plugged into your OBDII port in your car. It will alert you if the temperature is too high for the baby in the car and also if the baby is in the car after it has been shut off. The car seat seems comfortable for my baby. I would not have been able to use my car without this car seat. I highly recommend it to any parent.

Cool Car Seat! Love it!
Love the rotating feature! I don’t hate loading and unloading my kid anymore. It was pretty difficult to install we used the the preferred seat belt method. When installed improperly you will be able to notice because it is all wobbly. I was like nope we did something wrong lol! But once we set it up properly it was way better and it was not wobbly! My only issue is that the lock rotation indicator doesn’t work and we called Cybex. They informed us that they had not heard of such an issue but as long as seat is locked when we aren’t grabbing the handle to rotate it that it is good. Hope that makes sense. It’s a tiny bit annoying but we checked when he was reclined if it rotated and it didn’t and that means it is locked. I’ll definitely keep an eye on that.

Best and safest 360 swivel convertible carseat on the market
I absolutely love this carseat! I did a lot of research about the best convertible carseat regarding safety (crash testing), comfort, etc. I was stuck between this and the nuna rava which are the best rated car seats for comfort and scored highest on crash tests. I really wanted the 360 swivel as my son is a big boy so I opted for this one and I'm glad I did!!! Nuna has the Revv with 360 swivel, but it scored horribly on crash tests and only went up to 40 lbs so again this was definitely the better option. I've read a few people say it's very hard to install, but my husband got it installed within 5 minutes after watching the video that is on the QR code with the carseat. It also has a blue tooth sensor that is connected onto your phone which alerts you when your baby is buckled, temperature too hot or too low, etc. It really is so cool and the swivel is very easy. I'm really happy w/ this purchase and my son seems very comfortable in it. Only negative thing I would say is this is a very big carseat, so if you have a small sedan it might not be the most ideal; I drive a ford explorer so it fits good

Great car seat!
We love this car seat. It is sturdy, safe, comfortable for my toddler, and easy to adjust. My only real critique is how difficult it is to install. My husband and I spent an hour to install it initially and moving it between cars is a total pain. But otherwise, we are overall pleased with our purchase.

Unstable, not as safe/impressive as the marketing makes out
The install is pretty easy, and the potential for this car seat to be THE car seat to win over the rest is high. Sadly 9/10 for ingenuity but 2/10 for execution. I have a tesla model 3, and the 'base' seems to fit securely, but the seat when locked into the base wobbles way to much. Whilst it potentially could be ok, that much movement when driving will just loosen the straps over time and doesn't fill me with confidence. The seat is soft, reliably heavy and for its size and weight easy to drop in to the seat and install. The isofix / latch system is easy to attach (although use little loops to release them which present a possible risk of catching a loop and popping it loose without knowing). I previously used the Uppababy Vesa base and this used push release clips that were much safer/had less chance of accidental release. Once in place sliding the seat 'up' to its forward most position to allow access to the belt tension system. This was very easy to attach and tighten, then clamp down. You'll see in the video that part doesn't move as expected. Pulling the leg out and extending it to the right length was a bit of a pain. Too long and it lifts the baby seat off the car seat making it wobble more. Too short and it doesn't provide the safety it should. The seat itself is designed well, and looks comfortable. The shoulder straps can attach magnetically on the side of the baby seat which is useful when getting the baby in and out of the seat. The sensor i haven't gotten round to using or testing yet due to the instability issues. You'll see in the video the leg is set correctly and the back is super tight but there is a LOT of movement in the actual seat part. It wobbles inside its base too much. I'm not sure if this is a faulty unit I received, but is really not what I expected. The mesa and Uppababy unit fixed very securely even though the base was only attached by the latch system / isofix and didn't have a leg. My son is only 10 months but too tall for the uppababy car seat now, and there is a disappointing number of rotating car seats in the US compared to the UK. Cybex doesn't have a phone number so Sadly I have to email or tweet them to find out if this is a known issue (if they provide any more info on this I'll update the review).... UPDATE: Cybex reviewed this video and claims this amount of movement is normal. This may reassure some people, but sadly concerns me given this amount of play in the seat will inevitably cause things to loosen over time.
