Most asked about and recommended toddler product we have
This Little Tikes bike is absolutely awesome! I cannot tell you how many people ask about this bike when out with our daughter. Probably our most favorite purchase, yet. We bought this for my daughter for Christmas (right before her 1st birthday) and have been using it almost daily ever since. Assembly didn't seem difficult and we have not had any issues if we've ever had to disassemble to travel or fit in a smaller vehicle. My daughter now prefers to ride in the bike as opposed to a stroller! She seems to really enjoy the sense of freedom the bike gives and I personally love that my daughter is safe! We are still in the first stage of the bike, where I am pushing the bike and my little one is sitting enjoying the ride. I love that the bike allows little ones to sit upright with a footrest and has an open wrap around waist rail bar and cup holder. I tend to use the rail to attach a small fan for those extra hot days. The sun shade seems to provide a decent amount of coverage for the face/head/shoulders however I still find myself having to apply sun protection on arms and legs as they seem to be exposed the most to the sun. The parent steering took a little getting used too, but didn't seem to take long before we got the hang of it. I do appreciate the storage at the back of the bike as well as the storage on the driving handle. We use this bike at the park and I like being able to store what is needed while out. The brake seems to be made of plastic and can sometimes get bent or pushed into the wheel, making a clicking sound. However, we found that it was fairly easy to gently bend and manipulate back into place. The bike fits, fully assembled into the back of both my and my husband's mid-sized SUVs however we found that when we simply remove the parent steering rail, the bike fits in the back of a car pretty well. My favorite part of this bike is the ability to transition as my daughter grows. She loves it now and I'm sure she will continue to love it! One last note. I did not realize that my daughter could reach or use the handle bars until we were walking and she grabbed one side, immediately turning the direction of the bike. Threw me off guard for a second but was a good thing to be aware of. Steering can be a little frustrating at times but honestly, if we ever needed to take full control of the bike, we figured out that we could lean the bike slightly toward the back two wheels, lifting the front wheel, and push from there (per my husband).

Buy this trike
This is the perfect gift for a one year old! Pros: Our little one loves sitting in this trike! It comes with safety staps! It also has a drink and snack holder for baby and bonus one for mommy (or daddy) to. Because what parent or care taker doesn't get thirsty pushing a sweet little baby on a gorgeous day during a walk. It also has a spot for your cell phone and easy access to quick use if necessary. I love the basket underneath! Perfect size for a ball, bubble machine and a lunch if you want to take it to the park. I love that this trike can grow with our little one. The foot pads are a nice bonus so baby doesn't drag toes and get them scrapped up. I also like the shade canopy for hot afternoon walks. Cons: This trike comes in a million pieces. Seriously, not one piece we didn't have to figure out where it went. Luckily my husband is really smart. If you want to give this as a put together gift, at a party, make sure you put it together the night before. It's time consuming but worth the struggle. The only other down fall to this trike is the manoeuvrability. Compared to my jogging stroller(bob) and our wagon (radio flyer) this trike if pretty difficult to navigate. We still use it on short walks about once a week because our little one loves it. The turns and just general ease of pushing is definitely a little struggle but still fun and worth the money. If your still on the fence buy it already. You won't regret it.

Dont waste time on a traditional stroller
This is can be steered with one hand and is very smooth. The kids will love riding in it and I was stopped several times by other parents asking about it. The best part is that it will grow with your child, eventually transforming into a trike. We had several great years with this and it was still working perfectly when we had to sell for a bigger bike

READ THE INSTRUCTIONS! Take your time with this one...
The trike is very cute once you have it put together. We haven’t tried it outdoors yet but so far in the house, it operates properly. Now the assembly is the tricky part. It took me about an hour or so to put this trike together by myself. Here are a few tips on putting this trike together correctly and without going mad: 1. Make sure you have all parts listed. Do not start assembling this trike and realize you’re missing a screw or part halfway through the process. Count all the pieces FIRST according to the instruction booklet. 2. Align all holes properly and screw everything in TIGHTLY and SECURELY. Getting the back wheels and axle together was TOUGH. The wheels didn’t look nor felt secure (wobbled a lot) and trying to align the break hole with the axle hole (make sure the wheel and peg are pushed all the way in too) was almost impossible BUT I took my time and made sure my screws were tight and no more wobbly wheels. 3. Keep the instruction booklet in a safe place. It tells you how to convert the trike when needed. If you do misplace it, Little Tikes website has a downloadable one available. 4. Try to do this when you have the time and will not be interrupted. I waited until my toddler went to bed to start assembling this trike. I’d tried earlier in the day and could not do it (had to stop numerous times) So pick a time when you’ll have some extended free time (rare I know) to do this. It will save you a headache.... One of the reasons I decided to purchase this trike, besides the price point, was the parent tray. Other trikes either did not have one or had the soft pouch which I’m not a fan of. The cup holder has a rubber grip so your bottle of water/juice/coffee mug etc won’t bounce all over the place when your moving. There’s just enough space in the back for a small bag and toys which is perfect for a park outing. This trike doesn’t fold or recline but if you need to put it in the car you could remove the handle and the canopy and place it in the backseat. I wish this trike had a seat pad for extra comfort, that would’ve been a nice touch. As I said before, this is a cute trike that should last you a long while. Now if you are not into putting things together I don’t suggest this product to you but if you are willing to take an hour out of your day you’ll be glad you got it!

Toddler Approved
Purchased this for our toddler and she loves it! Awesome knowing that the bike will adapt as she grows so we can have it for some time unlike most kid items that we purchase. Assembly was simple.

Great bike for all ages
I love this and I love how it has grown with my daughter I have a four-year-old as well as a one-year-old and a four-year-old loves riding it just as much as the one year old the only thing I wish was if it was a little more sturdier for when they are at nine months it was a little bit big around the baby but it felt very safe and was by far my best money spent on a bike that I know will actually last

Bad Reviews Seem Old?
I'm so glad I took a chance on this. I read all the reviews and was very turned off by them to the point where I was going to purchase the Radio Flyer equivalent. Then I read their reviews which said there was no foot rest and kids feet kept getting hit by the petals as a result. I decided to take a chance and this product just arrived today. My daughter loves it so much she's mad at me for stopping to write this. First off, assembly was not hard. Maybe it was in the past but this took me maybe 45 minutes to put together. It does not lean to one side like others have stated. It is not hard to maneuver or wobbly as others have stated. My only negative is that this arrived with the handlebar missing so I'll have to call about that but it's not a huge issue since my daughter doesn't need one just yet and is happy to hold on to the rail around the seat.

Meh
Ok, at best. Expected better for the price of these things but I'll use it since I already bought it. To be fair, it works and is sturdy. I like that it has the foot rests. On the other hand, it was hell to put together, its pretty bulky (barely fits in the trunk of my car or anywhere else), and the steering turns me off. Don't put anything in the top compartment on the handle, it will surely spill/fall out. Also the wheels sometimes slip into lock when not even touched, and makes a clicking noise until you fix it, but that may be a problem because of how i assembled them. Wanted to return it but my baby likes it I guess, plus it'd be difficult taking it apart and putting the 10 million pieces back in the box 🙄

Recomiendo ampliamente.

Beautiful, my boy loves it! Easy to assemble. Other comments are misleading.
I am in love with this trike. It's beautiful and my boy loves it. I bought this trike despite of other comments that claimed it is hard to assemble and that there's a manufacture problem in the parent handle - and luckily all went well!!! The instructions are universal and contain very few words, meaning they show pictures of the parts and screws to assemble with some arrows, same idea as Ikea products. I understand why people had hard time reading the instructions but you have my word you don't have to be a rocket scientist either. There are gazillion parts so it took me over an hour but it wasn't hard at all! I did too encounter issues with the parent handle, and even called my brother-in-law to drill new holes in the metal part that goes inside the seat. At some point I even thought that the handle part that should go into the seat is too short. He then suggested to put extra pressure and we immediately heard a "klak" and the handle went in perfectly. I want to emphasize that both me and my husband tried to put pressure but I guess we didn't push hard enough or were too afraid to break it. In fact after he put it in I asked to take it out and do it myself and was unable to. I guess I don't put enough pressure. My husband though was able, I guess he was afraid to break it the first time he tried. ~~~ I urge all my fellow reviewers to try again and push the handle in as strong as you can. The trike will not break. I also urge Little Tikes to add a comment in the manual because so many people are encountering issues and are frustrated. ~~~ The wheels are made from some material that is between plastic and rubber. I guess it's plastic with some rubbery coat or perhaps some soft plastic. I wish they were all rubber, but I'm willing to give them a chance and see how many years they'll last. Bottom line this is a great product. Highly recommended!!!
