Not as bad as what I've read here
I don't normally write reviews but felt I needed to on this one...Either I haven't used this pan long enough or some of these reviews are written by Coleman competitors. I just returned from a weekend camping trip and made home fries for one meal and steak and sausage for another meal, expecting the pan to get totally trashed and I'd be out my $13. I used a single burner propane stove on low heat, used a smidge of butter (more for flavor than anything), and didn't ruin a single meal. Even while the sausage grease started burning to the pan, a quick scrub with one of those plastic scouring pads cleaned it right off. I even used cold water.First impression - yes, the handle is almost heavier than the pan. But it locks firmly in place and there was no concern of it tipping over on the unbalanced stove. Closing the handle though - the clasps are strong and with the pan being made of some thin material I almost folded the pan in half! But again, if you're backpacking weight is everything and this is just fine. The non-stick surface is truly non-stick. No major problems with any food sticking. If you look at the pictures, the first 3 are before the first use (no flash, flash, bottom). The second 3 are of the pan after the trip (no flash, flash, bottom). You can clearly see I used the pan, but the cooking surface wasn't destroyed. The bottom has scratches because, well, I used it on a metal stove! I'll be using this pan for the foreseeable future hiking and camping trips.I would NOT recommend using this pan over a campfire! Teflon isn't safe or durable at campfire temps - use stainless or cast for that. Butane/propane fires only, and remember - the pan needs to be thin for it to be lightweight. A little flame heats the pan up fast which also saves on fuel. I also read another review that said add food first, then heat. So that's what I did, and also used a plastic spatula so I wouldn't scratch the surface. Happy camping!

Nice size, good price
Perfect size camping pan, its very light and the handles fold to save space and they latch in securly when opened. Not sure how long it will last but the quality appears to be very good and Im sure it will hold up for at least a couple seasons. The price is good enough to buy a new one at the beginning of every season of it gets beat up.

Solid
A little small but gets the job done when camping witha small group and handle folds down for easy packing.

Non stick coating peels off after limited use. DONT BUY.
This pan is a waste of money. After less than a month of use during a RV trip, non stick coating started to peel off. Tried to keep it dry, but even then, pan managed to rust.Find and alternative and pass on this inferior product. (It's obviously made in China cheap).

Not the best for backpacking. Try it for car camping..
There are a few things to dislike about this pan, for one it's not the lightest thing if you're backpacking. And for two after cooking one meal on this pan the Finish had already worn out and food was starting to stick and burn onto the pan itself. While completely manageable for my simple overnight. And I will continue to use it for camping. I would not recommend this for any backpackers. You will lose room in your pack and extra weight on your back.

Did the job, great value
I read some bad reviews about this so I wanted to post mine. I finally got to use this pan on a camping trip this weekend and it was awesome. Sure, it's a little heavy for backpacking but I cooked on the fire with it and it handled it perfectly. Cooked burgers one night, then bacon and eggs the next morning. Nonstick surface seemed to work great, and it held up just fine. Eggs were the last thing I cooked, and they came off the pan with ease. I was a little skeptical considering some of these reviews, but it handled the heat just fine. Considering I paid under $9 for it, I can't ask for anything more.

Worked out great
A little smaller than I expected, but that was my own fault. This worked great for camping, handle was sturdy enough to pour hot water into a cup and great for the Coleman stove! Washed up well and has TONS of life left in it!

Cheap - Finished came off
Used it once on our camping trip then had to throw it away because the finish started peeling up on the inside and the outside of the pan. Disappointed. There were pieces of the finish in our eggs.
