Mopar 5166555AB Auto Part

The part is great. Exact fit for my 2005 jeep liberty diesel with 111,500 miles. But it didn't fix our problem, our old egr valve wasn't bad. The jeep was running perfect but had an engine light throwing codes for low glow plugs. We had the glow plugs replaced for $300 labor by a mechanic and when we picked it up we couldn't figure out the new high pitched squeal. We were told it would take $2000 and need egr valve and throttle control valve and fuel filter and housing, etc., etc. & that it had 10 codes on engine light for turbo, exhaust stuff, etc. We were not about to let him touch it again and started replacing parts ourselves and getting advice. It finally turned out that the 4th mechanic found that the guy had taken apart the intake manifold when he replaced the glow plugs and did not tighten the bolts back down or replace the bad gasket. So after several new unnecessary parts that never fixed the squeal & $1,800, we finally got the squeal gone and the engine light gone & all we needed was a better mechanic the first time. We've had the jeep fixed for a week now and still working great with no engine light.

just what I needed, my little jeep is getting older and will need more maintenance in the future I'm sure
