Fat Brain Toys SpinAgain, Baby Stacking & Spinning Toys for Toddlers Ages 1+

Get ready for a lot of fun with this stacker. The pole is removable from the base, which makes for more ways to play with this item. One can hold one end in each end and send the discs spinning side to side. My oldest daughter had my 1 year old laughing up a storm when she held one of the discs still and allowed the pole to fall through. It was a gift for him and he LOVES it. He loves to pick up the pole and send the discs spinning off from the bottom as soon as I have them put together, which makes for some fast-paced playtime for the two of us. He also loves to try to hit things with that pole, so watch out - it does hurt a bit so some guidance is necessary with the little ones prone to melee attacks. My only criticism- why isn't there a 7th gear spinning stacker with purple on it? My eyes want to see an odd number, and with the colors chosen for the other gear spinning stacker pieces, it could have been a stunning shade or two. Other than that, we love this toy!!!

My 23 month old loves this toy! I love that he keeps himself occupied with this. Wish I would’ve gotten this sooner. He has another stack toy but it doesn’t have the spinning effect. He much prefers this one

This is one of our favorite toys from Christmas!! I try to only get quality toys with lots of good play value. We try to not have too many toys either. I had a bit of a hard time thinking of what to get my 15 month old for Christmas since we already have plenty good toys for her age range from when her older brother was her age. This is one of the things I finally decided on after much searching and deliberation. I'm so glad I did!! it is a hit, not only with our 15 month old, but also with my 3.5 year old, as well as my husband and I! There is something so attractive and soothing to letting the disks spin down the pole. Our toddler loves picking up the full pole and letting the disks all spin off onto the floor. She also loves trying to put them on the pole, although it is somewhat challenging for her to line them up just right to get them on. My husband figured out you can roll the disks off the pole by holding the pole and rolling it along the floor. The disks roll like wheels all over the floor. It's fun to think of different things to do with it! This is one toy the kids keep coming back to. There is not much to it, but like many good toys, the fun is found in it's simplicity. Fun for everyone!!

Christmas present for my 1.5yr nephew. While on a family vacation in RI, we visited the Gilbert Stuart museum and I noticed how fascinated he was with the water wheel at the house. Later that year, he was having a blast with a pinwheel, so I thought I might see if there were any toys that involved simple spinning parts. This one was PERFECT. At the time of the purchase, it felt a little more expensive than I might have otherwise been willing to pay ($5 less would have felt better), but I there weren't many other options so I got it. Turns out it was well worth the price because he LOVED it. It's perfect for him at 1.5yrs, because it provides a very simply kind of interactive fun. He quickly got the hang of how the parts worked and had great fun watching the brightly colored cogs spin. If you lift the stick up out of the base, the cogs all slide off and you can start over again very easily. Even the adults were getting a kick out of putting the cogs on and watching them spin. The toy itself is a made with excellent quality, capable of taking the light knocking that comes with child play without any damage. I would definitely recommend this to others, and heck, we even joked while playing that adults might want one for themselves.

My nine year old loves this toy! We bought it for Christmas and he played with it most of Christmas day and the next. He has autism and loves things that spin and move. My only complaint is that the spindle isn't sturdier. It bent the second day and we keep having to bend it back so that the pieces will spin properly. It is probably fine for toddler aged kids but this is a great toy for kids with special needs and they can be quite rough with toys sometimes. I would still highly recommend this toy. It is easy for kids to use themselves and even the adults like to take a turn with it. If the spindle was redesigned to be sturdier I would definitely buy it again! Edit: For those who are annoyed with the fact that the base comes off, they do have a minnyspinny (I think that is what it is called). It is much smaller and the ends are fixed so the pieces don't come off. You just tilt it back and forth to make the pieces spin. I still wish they would make the stick solid instead of hollow. I realize it might be a safety hazard if it were any heftier but they get bent and then the wheels don't spin all the way anymore. Still a fun toy that got lots of use before it got bent.

This toy is such a hit in our house! My kids love watching the discs spin all the way down the pole, and it keeps them entertained way longer than I expected. The colors are bright and engaging, and it’s easy for little hands to stack and play. It’s also really sturdy my one-year-olds bang the pieces around and they’ve held up great. Even my four-year-old joins in and has fun with it. Definitely a toy that grows with them and worth the price! I don’t like the base that comes off from the pole. I’ve tried to glue it and use other options. It makes it hard for babies to stack sometimes because it comes off. I wish it would snap on and off. Or something, but sometimes it just falls off.

This is a wonderful fun toy, and the quality is worth buying this original instead of the cheaper knock-offs. I hadn't realized I had inadvertently bought a knock off, I went and looked further after it arrived as the base was different than the one I'd played with at a childcare facility. I then bought the Fat Brain original version and compared them. The base works better, but the real standout is the hand feel of the discs. Fat Brain's are velvety, really nice soft tactile sensation. The knock off is simply a hard plastic feel. Nothing you'd take note of unless you felt the Fat Brain discs. I don't approve of knock-offs, and don't want to support intellectual and creativity thievery with monetary gain. I sent the cheaper knock off back and left a similar review. I really love the feel of these discs! The photos show the shiny knock off on the right, and the more matte finish of Fat Brain.

We have a daughter (20 months) who has health and developmental issues/delays. Her ST had one during her appointments and she absolutely was mesmerized by it so I got one. We use it during our therapy sessions at home and it has been a great tool and toy. She likes to see the wheels spin down. And has now grown to be able to do it herself. It also seems to be a great tool for when she’s needed to calm and sit, and focus for a little. Our friend’s child loved it as well. So they bought one for him! It seems nice and durable. A softer feeling plastic. It’s maybe a bit pricey to some compared to basic stack toys that are similar. The spin effect it has really does seem to be fascinating to kids though. For our needs, and how often we use it, it has been well worth the money.

Superentretenido. Mi peque tiene 13 meses y aún no lo maneja al 100% pero le encanta ver bajando los aros a toda velocidad. En cuanto sepa meterlos por si solo no dudo que le encantará. Los aros tienen un tacto super gustoso, no son de plástico estándar, son mucho más suaves.

Ürün çok güzel ve kaliteli, beklediğimden çok daha büyük bir oyuncak. 13 aylık bebeğimin şimdiden dikkatini çok çekti.
