Our old collapsible strainer finally bit the dust and we've been looking for another. Most are too small, or don't have long handles, but we found these and they are very nearly perfect. I only wish the handles were a little longer, but other than that no complaints. And it will be great to have 2 of them! Thanks to the sellers for a good product and super fast shipping!

I have a small apartment, limited storage space, so I needed something that wouldnt take up a lot of room. This strainer is fantastic. I made spagetti a few nights ago and strainer held up to boiling noodles and water perfectly. Easy to clean, haven't tried the dishwasher yet (its a crappy apartment dishwasher so I probably won't try it). Definitely plan on getting another one that's a little bit bigger for bigger meals. Its big enough to cook noodles for 2-3 but if hosting a bigger crowd, bigger strainer is needed.

This is a great item! My daughter likes macaroni or a noodle at least twice a week and this colander makes that task a lot easier.You can store it in a drawer and it’s super easy to clean.

I have had this colander for 8 months and have been very pleased with it. It is easy to store because it collapses, easy to clean, and the size is just right. No signs of wear after 8 months of everyday use.

I am very impressed by this medium-sized colander, which is just right for draining a two-quart pot of vegetables or pasta. The handle feels strong, and the material very sturdy even when boiling pots are poured into it. The folding feature is very useful for storage, although only time will tell if the silicone material fatigues at the places where it folds. The capacity and shape have kept me from accidentally dumping good food into the sink.

I think my original fold in colander was made by the company that "invented" the concept. I can't remember the name but it was many many years ago. It had a good life but finally bit the dust. I prefer this new one because it's what I'll call firmer than the old one. I'm not sure it will last as long as the ole one but I definitely like the feel and the way it easily handles a 16 oz. package of spaghetti.

this is a sturdy replacement for our 30+ yr old hand me down that was definitely needing to be replaced. The collapse feature is great for storage and we've used it to strain boiling pasta water and other "tough test" cooking uses. Put it in our dishwasher frequently with no problems (we always use top shelf, fwiw). Very happy with it!

I really like the shape of this strainer and the fact that it has a handle. It is a good medium size strainer that I would find many uses for in my kitchen. I was very happy when I fist saw it but then I realized that the bottom of the strainer is not silicone as I thought it was. It is made of a plastic (type not disclosed) and as per the description online it is only heat resistant up to 158º F/70ºC - which means that if you use it to strain cooked veggies or pasta or anything with boiling water (100C) it is a temperature above what the plastic is graded for and therefore it is likely oozing all sorts of toxicants onto your food. So sad as the shape is nice. I wish it was silicone all the way. I suppose you can use it exclusively for washing items in cold water (that is why I gave it 3 starts instead of one).

Works very well as advertised. I would buy it again but wish they offered a bigger selection of colors. We've only used it for a few weeks so hopefully it will hold up.

This product is good but a little more thin and flimsy than exspected.
