best game for 2.5 yo
I figured it was time for my 2.5 yo to start playing games and bought a bunch for xmas (Ants in the Pants; Acorn Soup; Hi Ho! The Cherry-O; a matching game) but none are nearly as perfect as this. It was super easy for him to grasp, game play is not too fast and not too slow, itโs cooperative, easy to set up, and no small pieces (a plus for my 10 mo whoโs always intervening). The 2.5 yo loves to play it with anyone that visits (and loves to explain it too). Kids with a longer attention span will want to play a handful of times in a row, and kids with a shorter attention spay will be fine playing once. This pieces are age appropriate, well made (wooden fruit!), and not chintzy. Also the ending of this game is clear-cut and satisfying. Really perfect for a toddlerโs first game.

Fruitastic game!
We got this game because our 2 year old always wanted to join when we played games but they were too advanced. This has been a great game that our entire family enjoys! It's very simple with large pieces and quick game play, all of which are a must with the short attention spans of little ones! Our kiddos enjoy throwing the die and trying to keep the birdie from eating the fruit. When the bird comes up on the die, they giggle and say don't get our fruit! It's been great because it also teaches lessons that games do, such as waiting our turn, playing the color rolled even if it's not the one that was wanted (and thus not cheating), and that we don't always win but we can play and try once more. This game is a winner all around and is played weekly. Update: After having this game for over 2 years it's been one of the most played with games that we have in our big collection of games! Kiddos ranging from 22 months up to 5 years enjoy it and so do the adults who play it with them. The game looks as great as it did when we got it. The fruit pieces have hit the ground more times than I can say but they haven't chipped at all. This game has been so durable and such fun to have in our rotation. One thing to keep in mind is that the pieces are made of wood so they pack a punch if hurled by a little one but we haven't really had a problem with that since the game play is so quick and keeps the kids engaged. I still love how big the pieces are because they can't be choked on, are easy for kids to grasp, and I'm not picking up tiny pieces everywhere! One of the other reasons this game is uniquely awesome is because it takes very little effort (not a lot of rules) but it's still fun so you can get straight into playing & having fun. Also everything fits in the box well and the box has held up just as well as the rest of the pieces. It's just a really great game!!

Beautifully crafted game gives hours of toddler-type fun
The My First Orchard Game is so much fun! I gave it to my 2 1/2 year old grandson for Christmas and we played with it multiple times a day. The rules of the game are easy for a toddler to grasp, even though we didn't always play by the rules lol. The older kids love it too, and it teaches taking turns, rolling the die, and teamwork while playing together to beat the Raven. The pieces are non-toxic, beautifully crafted out of wood, hand-painted in vibrant colors, and the perfect size for toddler hands. I will definitely purchase more games from this brand, and I highly recommend!

Amazing game for 2-4 year olds. Easy, simple rules that any age can understand. My kids love it and it was a great way to introduce them to board games.

Easy to learn, many ways to play
My 2 1/2 year old grandson loved this game!!! I love that there are great games for two-year olds. They learn cooperation, color reinforcement, counting, and taking turns. Who knew that rolling a dice was a whole new skill! The pieces are solid wood and the game surface is beautiful. Such a fun way to spend time with each other

3 year old childโs favorite game!
My 3 year old granddaughter loves this game. Even her older brother will play with us. It is a great beginning game that teaches taking turns, following simple rules and winning and losing, without any pressure.

Easy & fun
As advertised: big sturdy pieces, solidly made, easy to understand and to play. My 2 year old granddaughter loves it but she insists that we give the bird some fruit if we end up picking it all ๐

Buy it!
We've had this game for all 3 kids and it's been a hit for all of them. It's a perfect first game. The game pieces are nice and big so they aren't a choking hazard. I would still recommend playing with your toddler so you can help them learn taking turns, colors, and how to take care of the game and not just throw it around (which is what toddlers do when left unattended with things). My youngest is silly and she's on the crows side and wants us to lose haha
