I have installed several of these at my various short term rentals and they work very well. Low failure rate, easy to install, a breeze to program and re-program and look nice. I prefer the door handle version as opposed to the deadbolt version. I have tried several other keypads from bigger brands and was very dissapointed, especially for the higher price point.

The looks/design: OK fine, nothing wrong here.Installation: easy as 1-2-3Digital lock mechanism: ok, works as expectedThe PROBLEM: The plate on which the inside handle mounts bends outward over time and NORMAL use. See attached photo to this review. This makes the handle wobble and become hard to open from the inside. The outside (digital lock side) mounting is solid. However, because of the bent inside mounting plate (and it gets worse over time), the entire door handle mechanism is rendered essentially useless once the plate bends out of shape too far. Too bad it's well past my warranty period otherwise I'd send back the entire mess for a refund.You Get What You Pay For! YGWYPF!

We bought this lock for our master bedroom door when our nanny first started with us. We wanted to have one part of the house locked where we could keep valuables, medications, etc. I am really impressed with both the quality and the price point of this lock. It was very easy to install, my husband had it installed in about 10 minutes. 4 digit key code was easy to input and we have it set to auto lock which I appreciate because before leaving the house, all I have to do is pull the door shut (no need to input code). It does have an audible "beep" sound when you put in the code. It is rather loud when the auto locking mechanism engages (it has made me jump more than a few times when I wasn't expecting it). This door handle feels very solid, and the keys have a nice, firm press to them. I think that this will also be great when my kids get older, to keep them out of our bedroom when we don't want them in there.

This unit works well and as intended. Installation took about 10 minutes (was replacing a key only unit). Build quality seems solid. The unit can learn multiple codes as well which is nice, and has an "auto lock" feature you can enable or disable which will auto lock the door if unlocked for more than 10 seconds. The only downside in my eyes is the inside handle won't turn if in the "locked" position. You have to turn it to unlocked (the locking mechanism is a nub that turns on the handle, not a push button) to open the door. The one I had before allowed you to open the door from the inside regardless of the position of the lock. I guess the upside is you can't accidentally lock yourself out, but that, to me, is the entire point of installing a keypad.

I have been on the search for an inexpensive, easy way to automatically lock our house. Most of the smart locks that can be operated by a smartphone are too expensive and not in line with the style I wanted. This lock was reasonable priced and offered the features we were looking for in a smart lock. Granted you this is not a smart lock with an app, but it does auto lock after 10 secs to make sure you are always protected.The unit was easy to install and program and looks great on the door.

The media could not be loaded.  After two years of usage (~1000 entries / exits) I can confirm that this product has a few failure modes:1) The electronic buttons on the outside begin to fail after ~600 to presses. They either need to be pressed very hard, or "double tap" whenever they are pressed only once. To adjust for this, you can change the passcode to avoid dead buttons.2) The internal locking mechanism gets jammed and causes the user to be unable to unlock the door from the inside. This also prevents you from opening the door! The only way to fix this issue is to go outside and use the key to open the door with force.3) Eventually, as has happened to mine after 2 years, the internal locking mechanism breaks and the door cannot lock nor unlock via the electronic keypad. This reverts the knob to being a standard (key) entry door.If you want to look at it from a cost-per-use sense, this door cost me about 5~10 cents (USD) per usage. I don't know your opinion, but that seems pretty expensive to me. On a funny note, I *never* changed the batteries. The batteries you put in this lock will outlive the lock itself!I downgraded my 5-star rating to a 3-star rating. I give it 3 because it did work (roughly) for 2 years. Maybe I'm being too generous.ORIGINAL REVIEW:Title: Works well even with deadbolt above!Install was easy and it works well! I managed to install this system on a 1-3/4" thick door with a deadbolt only 6 inches above the door handle by flipping the backplate upside down. It's easy to set pass codes, clear them, and so far I've had a great experience.

I had one of these locks on our pantry door when we purchased our house, and it has worked perfectly. I decided to get another one for another closet, and it was very easy to install. No drilling or additional holes are needed in your door. It took me about 10 minutes to install. I took my time. It was easy to program and it works extremely well. I read some of the one-star reviews, and some are installed on commercial doors or ones that receive more abuse from banging into them. Mine are on residential, inside doors. So I'm not sure of that also makes a difference. But so far, so good. I would buy these again.

Easy install, works as intended, decent pricepoint. Only thing I'd change is to have the back panel fit more tightly to the door.

Easy to install, inexpensive compare to others and perfect for garage entry door.Only thing I wish it had was optional delay lock time. Default is around 10 sec.

Installed it no problem but the code doesn't unlock the device every time and the locking mechanism on the inside portion of the handle slips frequently causing the door to lock itself
