With adjustable tone control and a boost button, it ensures clear communication by minimizing background noise and allowing for tailored audio experiences. ## Description The Clarity HA40 Portable Telephone Handset In-Line Amp is a great, easy solution to modify phones that have a handset separate from the keypad so they are more hearing-friendly. It easily installs between the handset and the base and will increase incoming sounds up to 40 dB! It also has an adjustable tone control to help distinguish between similar-sounding words like "chair" and "share" as well as a boost button that mutes the microphone in the handset to eliminate background noise and feedback. Because of its small size, this easy to use telephone amplifier is ideal for traveling, as well as at the home or office. So make your incoming telephone conversations louder, clearer and easier to understand with the HA40 amp! Review: Works well! - Bought this for my mom who has severe hearing loss and still has some issues even with a hearing aid. This is a game changer! Review: Didn’t work with my Mom’s phones - A friend recommended this as my Mom has hearing issues. She has 2 corded phones she uses. When I installed this amplifier (tried it on each one), the phones could not be used as it prevented a proper connection making the phones “off the hook”. No dial tone. As an engineer I tried several things to no avail. I was very hopeful but didn’t work for us. ## Features - Designed for people with mild to severe hearing loss - Uses ClarityPower technology - Increases incoming sounds by up to 40dB - Adjustable tone control (600Hz–2.4kHz) amplifies specific frequency range for sound clarity & distinction between similar-sounding words like "chair" & "share" - Boost button allows for even more amplification & eliminates background noise & feedback by muting microphone in handset ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B06XGZ8H53 | | Battery Cell Composition | NiMH | | Best Sellers Rank | #281,466 in Office Products ( See Top 100 in Office Products ) #788 in Landline Phones | | Brand | Clarity | | Brand Name | Clarity | | Color | White | | Compatible Devices | Landline Telephone | | Control Type | Button Control | | Customer Reviews | 3.4 out of 5 stars 36 Reviews | | Included Components | product, manual | | Item Type Name | Clarity HA40 HA40 Portable Telephone Handset in-Line Amp | | Item Weight | 0.27 g | | Manufacturer | CLARITY PRODUCTS | | Material | Plastic | | Model Name | Clarity HA40 HA40 Portable Telephone Handset in-Line Amp | | Model Number | HA40 | | Noise Control | None | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Output Wattage | 1 watts | | Part Number | HA40 | | Power Source | Corded Electric | | Recommended Uses For Product | home, office, indoor | | Software Update Supported to Date | unknown | | UPC | 033586868870 078667316192 956260409896 759599019336 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Warranty Description | 1 year | ## Product Details - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 6.38 x 2 x 9 inches - **Manufacturer:** CLARITY PRODUCTS - **Mounting Type:** Surface Mount - **Brand:** CLARITY - **Number of Channels:** 1 ## Images ![HA40 HA40 Portable Telephone Handset in-Line Amp - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41charB9tOL.jpg) ![HA40 HA40 Portable Telephone Handset in-Line Amp - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51gqZDICrIL.jpg) ![HA40 HA40 Portable Telephone Handset in-Line Amp - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51ycHFyuMgL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works well! *by C***A on September 2, 2024* Bought this for my mom who has severe hearing loss and still has some issues even with a hearing aid.
