Q: I am looking at these gloves to give support to my thumb joints as I am unable to grip the weights doing Aqua exercises, are they any good..

These gloves work a bit like a splint in most water exercises, but are too stiff to grip the handholds of most weights. I took a foam pool noodle, cut a couple of lengths from it equal to the length of the handrests, then cut a slot in each so as to slip them over the handrests. Works pretty well if you have weak thumb joints.

Q: Do these gloves have a sun block added? Are they resistance to the sun?

Q: How about the fit for an 8 year old girl?

I don't think they would fit. I would go to a store and try them on her first... The medium is big on me and I am a normal sized woman.
