Depends on the feel of fabric you want (stiff or drape-y), and how you knit (tight or loose). The smaller the needle and the tighter you knit will make a stiffer fabric. I used US15 for some cushions, but I also knit loosely, so my fabric stretched out a little once the cushions were stuffed. When I made this hat I had let enough time go that I had five inches on my knitting loom than I had realized - away I’d gone with wrap 2, figure eight two. That photo with the cream is Aspen Tweed and Chicago Charcoal. The red one is when I wasn’t quite finished. That one is Tampa Spice. Some of the varieties split but it’s not a huge problem. No factor knots. There are so many different colors you get to choose from.
