On my car (2004 Acura TL), I use Honda's "Shinetsu-Silicone", which is identical to the DC33. I find DC33 to be better for gear applications (e.g., window regulator mechanism, etc...). Using silicone-based lube is the best care you can do for any rubber parts and I use silicone lube on every seal on my car. Note, however, that certain silicone lubes are for high-temp use only, such as brake caliper piston seal, slider pins, etc...
