I use this mat on the outside of the house dog door to avoid the dogs' nails from scratching the deck. It stays in place and comes in an assortment of colors. Rain has not harmed its absorbancy and it dries quickly. A great help in keeping the kitchen and the rest of the house cleaner.

I love these Waterhog mats! I've had several of them, and they're very durable and attractive. I wash them off outside with the garden hose, and then I let them dry in the sun. We live in a dry climate, so the mats usually dry fairly quickly. Someone who lives in a more humid area might have a problem getting them dry.
