Aoliks Biker Shorts Women with Pockets - 8" High Waisted Tummy Control Running Workout Spandex Gym Volleyball Yoga Shorts

I'm writing a review because I came back to re-order. That should be all you need to know. I purchased these to wear under a dress that has a tendency to fly up. When they arrived, they were perfect for that, but I also discovered I didn't want to take them off! I find myself wearing them as pajamas, but also as shorts with a long T-shirt (and I don't wear shorts!) and while walking for exercise. Length wise, I'm 5'2" and they come to about 1 1/2 - 2" above the knee - but can easily be pulled up shorter if needed. They are comfortable, fit well, and are not see through at all. The shorts have a spandex like stretch, but not the sheer, shiny "spandex" feel of some biker shorts. Instead, they have a soft, cotton touch to them. They are NOT compression shorts, so understand that going in -- they are not going to reduce you "two sizes in 5 minutes" - but that means they are incredibly comfortable. I can't even feel the waistband while wearing them - it's not too tight and not too loose. They are, however, tight enough that when I catch sight of myself in the mirror I am not appalled by my jelly rolls - they slim slightly (they are black and skin tight), but do so comfortably so you aren't waiting to take them off. These would not be my go-to for heavy aerobic exercise, I feel like I'd be pulling them up a lot because they are not super tight - but that's not why I bought them. For everything else - work around the house, walking around town, grocery shopping, cleaning, sleeping - essentially living life - they are perfection.

These are exactly what I wanted for my exercise class. I'm over 60 and wanted shorts to work out in for the summer months. We stretch a lot so I wanted a more modest look than most shorts that are available. These fit the bill: longer leg length, substantial fabric but not restrictive, flexible and breathable too, good fit, pockets will help because I have to keep a mint handy.

I basically live in these high-waisted tummy control biker shorts during the summer. They’re super comfortable, soft, and a great value for the price. The pockets are perfect for sliding my phone in, and the tummy control does a nice job of holding everything in without feeling too tight. The only downside is that if your thighs rub together, the fabric will eventually wear down and can develop a hole in the inner thigh area over time.

These are amazing! Fit is perfect and they’re super soft. So comfortable, I enjoy them at the gym and just hanging around the house.

As far as the material is concerned, it is a well made product and the material is very comfortable, however, it is not at all flattering. The shorts are longer than in this picture (and I am 5'9" so I usually have the opposite problem). Also, the material is thick and seems to make my hips look larger than they already are rather than having a slimming/tightening effect. I do appreciate that these do not squeeze my thighs like crazy, which is what most other biker short brands I have tried do. They flow into my leg well and don't make me look like a marshmellow with a rubber band like most shorts seem to do (for reference, I am 5'9" 155lbs and I ordered a medium). The pockets are nice but not super tight so when I put my phone in there it pulls the pants down a little bit. They are comfortable and well made but maybe this style is just not for my body type.

These soft, breathable shorts are a comfortable addition to your wardrobe. Plus, pockets! :D The pockets manage to hold my giant, heavy phone while running. They're also a more modest cut for your thigh, which is my favorite part about them. I'm a taller woman and I struggle to find normal length shorts that cover my thighs in a flattering way without showing too much. The only thing I dislike is that they're high waisted (which was my mistake when shopping around). The waist band ends right after it covers my belly button. But, it presses on my stomach in an uncomfortable way. I fold the waistband in half to stop that issue. I highly suggest hand washing these shorts and air drying them. If you must wash them, do a delicate cycle, and still no dryer.

This is the third pair of these exercise shorts I've purchased. The last 2 were bought in 2021 and are still in great shape (even with regular wear/washing). They fit well, elastic waist isn't tight, not super short, lightweight, and side pockets. Great to have a secure place for my phone.
