Got use to them pretty quick and man such a great product!

I'm a professional classical guitar player who was looking for a way to free myself from my long nails. Fred Kelly Picks may be good for some players, but weren't the answer for me. I felt clumsy trying to play with the picks on my fingers, even after filing them back to the same shape and length I was accustomed to. Worth a shot, but my search for a good alternative continues.

I bought these from a store on the road but will be stocking up through Amazon. I am a clawhammer banjo player and struggle daily with my thin nails. Clawhammer banjo playing further depletes my nail. A broken nail is a constant stress and greatly depletes the performance of my playing. I've searched far and wide to find something reliable to use in case of a broken nail. Finally, I found these. I would have given a five star review except that I have to secure them with medical tape to play. However, since they are not designed for clawhammer banjo playing, they might work better for picking (vs. frailing). In all honesty, these have changed my musical life. To be able to consistently count on something to work is a great relief. I found, too, if you add a little moisture to your finger when putting them on, they stay better. Do a little filing along the cuticle bed part and you're good to go. I've tried everything else, even alaska picks, but these are the best by far for my specific needs.

Ordered size small... and received size large. Also, there is a strange brown gunk inside the pick (not on the outside of the bag- check photo). Didn't even bother opening it. Going to return the product.

I've used these picks for clawhammer banjo for a while now, and they are excellent. They work quite well -- they stay on my finger and really "step in" as a hard nail. Unfortunately, I ordered a set of small-size picks, but received a set of large-size picks. I'm disappointed -- this is why I'm giving this item two stars. I will be returning these and ordering them elsewhere.
