Avoid these dishes. They chip extremely easily- we’ve already chipped at least 5 items and we are two careful adults. However, the biggest problem is they are not sealed properly and all have at some point developed mould on the inside of the ceramic. The picture above is fresh out of the dishwasher and it’s covered in mould. We’ve never had this issue before, or with any of our other dishes. The mould grows both on the inside and outside of the bowls and plates.They were well packaged, and are very pretty and shipping was quick, but I do not recommend spending your money.EDIT: Please take care to read the low star reviews- Amazon UK is hiding pictures that show many German customers have had the same problem with mould. Their pictures don’t automatically show up unless you look for them but this has happened to a ton of people!

It’s a nice set but be very very careful it should NOT be put into the microwave . I nearly dropped a plate when it got too hot and scolded my hand when I picked a cup out of the microwave with hot milk in because the cup was soo hot .So please be very carefulUpdateI had to replace this 32 piece set and put it back in the boxes it came in . It was always wet and turning mouldy .With my health condition I couldn’t take the risk . Waiting for my son in law to take it to the local tip as I can’t even give it away to a charity shop knowing it gets mouldy and too hot when in the microwave . I Emailed the company and they offered to send me a 16 piece replacement set for the 32 piece set I bought for £114 . I refused and asked for a refund and Ive heard no more .

I was concerned about buying China off the internet but I can’t recommend this service enough. I wanted Fiesta ware but it costs too much to send from America. These bright, lively colors are the best I have found. It is durable and beautiful. Only one drawback: it gets very hot in the microwave.

Had these for 6 months now so can give a very good review. ordered 2 x 40 sets as wanted some spares and am glad we did. Packaging on arrival was excellent so no issues at all. The product looked good and the colours very nice and as described. Dimensions of plates and bowels were ideal for everyday use.Issues foundsome patterns are not as well presented as others only slightly but as we were paying mid-range I would have expected better. The biggest issue is chipping. we have had the 2 sets for 6 months and found that all the plates and cups chip very easy. we had a very cheap set from Wilko before and only replaced this due to dropped and smashed pieces and that they were very plain. in the long run im glade we purchased 2 sets to replace the chipped ones but am disapointed that we have had to do this.Sort the hardness out and you will have a great dinner service but as is can see it being replaced in 2 years time.

Very pretty but chipped on the first day! And they get VERY HOT in the microwave. After heating milk for just 1 minute I need to use an oven mitt to take the cup out of the microwave, and the cup gets hotter than the contents. Same goes for the plates. I just ordered a replacement of a different brand.

Long term review. We had these over a year now and every plate has chipped. The bowls have faired slightly better. Not going to claim to be the more delicate, but in comparison with our previous plates and dinnerware, the ones we haven't smashed are still going strong 10 years later with no chips!They are also not really microwaveable - they heat up more than the content, the outer layer on some of the soup plates has hairline cracked and moisture from inside oozes out.

Product is fantastic and well made, they have stood up to 6months of abuse. The only “complaint” I have is that they are not microwave safe as indicated as they get incredibly hot and impossible to handle barehanded

Purchased this dinner set back in April to put in my new kitchen & was very happy at first but then discovered the breakfast bowls and dinner plates started forming mould on the rim underneath. This can in my mind only happen due to poor finishing and not being sealed correctly at the factory causing moisture to build up after each wash despite drying thoroughly. In short it looks like a nice dinner set but avoid at all costs. Now having to spend another £100+ to replace this set. Not fit for purpose.
