Torco UL Accelerator Octane Booster Case of 8oz Cans

The 8 ounce cans of Torco Race Fuel Accelerator are easy to use and store. I did have to use more of it than expected to obtain the desired results which were to prevent detonation that occurs in my motor when running it at WOT.

While they claim huge increase in numbers for the octane, my experience on my Harley is different than they claim. While my Harley is built pretty good and the ignition timing is right at the limit, detonation would occur unless I was real easy on the throttle. Tried NOS octane booster and really liked it. No detonation at any throttle advance..... Read the reviews of TORCO and thought it would be better. Not. While I had to add 4oz of NOS per 5gal to keep it from detonation, I had to add 10oz of TORCO to gain the same results. Same, 93 octane gas. Next time, I'll buy NOS.

I am running a modified Dodge Shelby GLHS turbo on roadcourses. I can run up to 14 psi on street gas, and up to 20 psi on 100 octane race fuel.One can of torco per tank of super unleaded does the trick for the track (12 gallon tank). At $20. a can this is much more economical than race gas, and easy to transport.I've run about 12 tanks of fuel with torco at high boost with no detonation.
