Good choice!
I like this gum a lot. For one, it is a great way to protect your teeth from cavaties, but it also freshens my breath for a long time. Xylitol is the way to go for tasty gum that is low in sugar content!

Has a great taste
I work at a busy community dental clinic and we give Spry as samples to our patients. I tried it and really like the gum, so I bought some for myself. My favorite is cinnamon. The dentists recommend Spry gum.

Great Flavor, Holds Up Better then Other Xylitol Gums We've tried...
I bought this gum for myself, because I'm trying to work with my son on chewing gum to provide him with a societally acceptable way of oral stemming, and I was blowing through more of his fruit flavored gum that way, and I really prefer mint anyways. We need a gum with xylitol only, because with one of our son's medical conditions, Sotos Syndrome, aspartame can cause seizures. And because he gets into and tries to chew on everything, I prefer to make sure nobody has any products with aspartame in the house. So, I've tried one other brand of mint flavored xylitol gum off of Amazon, and that one was made by Epic dental. I'm going to tell you this stuff by Spry is WAY, way better. Way better. The Epic one had a very harsh, strong taste even to me, and I've got to tell you I used to blow through boxes of Altoids like they were nothin' back when sugar and I were still on more regular speaking terms. The flavor on the spry is definitely very pleasant, and it lasts longer then the Epic dental one did. Typically what I have found is that xylitol gum tends to loose it's flavor quickly. This one does better then the other brands I have tried and the texture stays good...some brands go mushy and mooshy. So, will it last as long as trident? No, the main burst of full flavor is gone in about 10 minutes or so, but there is a bit of a minty after taste that lingers for about half an hour. And that is definitely superior to our experience with Epic, and even with Zellies. And we like the Zellies, the flavor just doesn't last as long as Spry's does. Now, a quick note on Xylitol. I don't have tons of time to read through all of the studies on this, but in general it appears that it can inhibit the growth of the bacteria that causes cavities. Which, given that I just had some cavities filled today...probably isn't a bad thing ;) And it may not be a bad thing for you either. There was some criticism by researchers over seas about the quality of the xylitol studies, but...pretty much everybody including those people agree it's better for your teeth then gums or mints with sugar. So in our house, I'm saying this is a 5 star product. I actually *really* like it a whole lot and totally plan on buying more in the future...

very pleasantly surprised
I was looking for a gun that's (1) cinnamon flavored, (2) sugar-free, and (3) not likely to pull caps and crowns off my teeth. I'd never heard of Spry before but the listing clearly showed it to be cinnamon flavored and sugar-free and it suggested that tonight meet the dental criteria, so I gave it a try. The cinnamon flavor is good - not toooo strong and no aftertaste - definitely doesn't have that tell-tale sugar-free flavor. The pieces are a little smaller than I expected so I've found that using 2 or 3 at a time feels right. I've tried it twice in the last couple of days and my only complaint is that the flavor wears off a little sooner than I'd like but it won't stop me from using it, unless a cap or crown suddenly comes off.

Good for what I needed, but the flavor does not last
I wanted this gum because studies have shown xylitol reduces tooth decay (see Wikipedia quote below). I put this in my kids' lunch, because they have had some issues with cavities, and despite my begging that they brush at lunch, I am very sure they are not. I take this gum also, and I chew it after my lunch. I know my kids will chew this, even if the flavor doesn't last long, because it's gum- and all gum is better than no gum. On the negatives side, if you are looking for a gum that stays soft and chewy and flavorful for a long time, this isn't it. I like the flavor- it's not bitter like some cinnamon gums, but I can't say it lasts long. I chew it, feel it freshens my breath and may help my teeth, and the pretty quickly, when it starts to taste like unflavored rubber, I spit it out.what follows is from wiki:Xylitol is a "toothfriendly" sugar. In addition to not encouraging tooth decay (by replacing dietary sugars), xylitol may actively aid in repairing minor cavities caused by dental caries.[citation needed] Early studies from Finland in the 1970s found that a group chewing sucrose gum had 2.92 decayed, missing, or filled (dmf) teeth compared to 1.04 in the group chewing xylitol gums. In another study, researchers had mothers chew xylitol gum 3 months after delivery until their children were 2 years old. The researchers found that the xylitol group had "a 70% reduction in caries (dmf)." Recent research confirms a plaque-reducing effect and suggests that the compound, having some chemical properties similar to sucrose, attracts and then "starves" harmful micro-organisms, allowing the mouth to remineralize damaged teeth with less interruption. (However, this same effect also interferes with yeast micro-organisms and others, so xylitol is inappropriate for making yeast-based bread, for instance.)Xylitol based products are allowed by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to make the medical claim that they do not promote dental caries.[9]

Using on carnivore diet
I’m currently on a carnivore diet. I can’t do sugar, so I have tried other brands of sugar free gum and they don’t last, have a weird consistency, or just plain taste bad. Had someone recommend Spry to me, and now I’m on my second jar! It’s just like normal gum (that’s what I want). It also keeps me in ketosis and tastes great. The jar is an added bonus, always stays fresh.
