Worked as it should, installed very easily.The screw bosses were slightly larger than my original ones but ran a drill through the hole on my shell door and they fit like a glove. My shell is 28 years old they might have been made with smaller holes then

Swaps the current locks on my Leer 180XL in under 10 minutes!
Worked great replacing my locks on my Leer 180XL for my Nissan Frontier, which I purchased used without keys. Parts fit exactly and took a few minutes to swap. Fast shipping by seller, got the following morning!

Bauer replacement locks (great quality)
Bauer replacement truck cap locks. These fit perfect. I did order the other Bauer replacement locks (but it was my mistake that I did not see the sizing)These have a more recessed middle which fits ideally on my Leer truck cap.I was able to replace the old ones with the new ones within about 10 minutes give or take. I would just make sure that you pay attention to the way the old locks are removed. They technically have a "left & right" side.

Had to modify
Handles feel absolutely awesome, they are heavy and feel of good quality. Lock is super smooth too. Only thing was the little sandwich plate was beveled on both sides so I had to use a dremel to grind it flat(you can see the difference in the pic). From there it was smooth sailing, good product!

Function and fit was perfect. I was unable to get from the topper manufacturer anymore. The locks work great very easy to replace and install. Best of all cheap but well made

Collar on shaft or not
Replacement was easy on my ARE shell. Took less than 30 minutes. When ordering check to see if there is a collar on the shaft you are replacing. These replacements come with or without a collar. If you order ones with the collar you may have to drill out the hole in the camper top.
