Well, with my first impression I really would love to give this only one star. This smell does not appeal to me at all and almost makes me feel dizzy or something. It seems to be high quality and well packaged. It also comes with a great little suggestion guide for other essential oils as well. I will give this a try tonight to see if it helps, I'm a bit nervous however because I just think it smells gross. It smells like licorice and a little lavender. I love Lavender but this combination is all wrong for me so far. Hopefully it will surprise me. Will Update after I try it. Update! I used this last night as suggested on the back of the bottle. I rubbed it into my feet diluted into olive oil after my shower. WOW. I was asleep within 15 minutes. I was planning on watching some tv, but I began to feel too relaxed and thought ok, I'll just read the suggestion guide they included with this oil. I began to notice I wasn't comprehending and had to re-read a few lines and then, the next thing I remember is my bf was already in bed and the lights were out! I'm going try it again tonight and if I get the same effect I will keep the four stars :) I have been impressed because initially I felt this was going to be useless based on its detering smell. I guess it's not meant for its aroma, but it's physiological affects. Will Update to rule out the factor that I may have just been exhausted. I feel this oil worked. Update: Still great! I've actually grown to appreciate the smell better. It's still not a smell I'd wear or purposely smell for aromatherapy, but it definitely works for me when applied as per instructions. I also dream more while using this. Not sure if I'd repurchase, but I am glad I bought it and I would recommend if you need the sleep help. It works for me. Update: so I've grown to no longer be offended by the scent. It's not something you'd buy as a perfume imo but its ok as far as scents go, just kind of weird. Update 2/13/15 This stuff is great! Maybe my initial dislike of the scent were my pregnancy/nursing hormones altering my sense. I consider that because now over a year without those excess hormones I find this scent very nice and comforting! My husband liked this scent the first day it arrived. It works for both of us and our fussy toddler. We diffuse it as well as apply to the soles of our feet. I like this brand a lot.

Smells amazing! First purchase was a cheaper brand that caused me almost an immediate headache….this product is worth every penny and did not disturb my sleep

This is by far my favorite, I keep forgetting to order more but way better then a candle and not super overwhelming very soft and peaceful scent. I was gifted a pack and this one was the first gone

The scent is pleasant and well balanced, not too strong or overpowering. I like using it in a diffuser, especially in the evening. The oil feels high quality and the aroma is calming and clean. Overall, a nice essential oil blend.

This is a great oil! The reason for only 4 stars is that I was hoping to replicate the much higher prices DoTerra “cheer” scent. While I can smell multiple scents, this oil is heavy on the citrus. I would wear a drop of the cheer for n my wrist during the day - it was wonderful. I won’t “wear” this scent. But it will work great for laundry freshener and homemade cleaning products.

Eden garden products are my favorite when it comes to essential oils. They are great quality at an affordable price. Don't waste your money with other companies. This product causes a relaxing night of sleep, and it smells amazing. Nice!

This blend smells amazing and it knocks me out cold, although the effect isn't immediate. For me it takes an hour and a half or so to work. I like to dab some on/get the diffuser going when I am ready to start winding down at night. I'll watch a few t.v. shows or a movie while I inhale deeply. It starts to relax me right away but it takes longer before I am ready to catch some zzzzz's. Once it takes hold of me I become incredibly sleepy and will zonk out fast. I also use Edens Garden's "relaxation" blend which has a very similar effect on me. That one is a tad less sweet smelling than "good night" is, but both smell really good. I can't decide which is my favorite. At first I loved relaxation more but lately I am feeling addicted to Good Night. I really do love them both and plan to stay well stocked on both scents. I have to say that I am surprised by the reviews that say this blend isn't very strongly scented or that it doesn't work for them. Because the bottle i received is VERY potent and for me it works like a charm every night that I use it. I guess that what works for some may not work for everyone. Thank goodness that I am one of the ones who gets good results with this oil blend. I've always had trouble settling down & falling asleep at night. And I was on muscle relaxers for back spasms for many months. The meds knocked me out at night while I was using them, but after I stopped I had an even worse time falling asleep. I've tried passionflower drops, magnesium, melatonin tablets, and many other things. Some don't work at all. Others do but give me a strange hangover feeling in the morning. This "Good Night" blend works without fail every night AND I don't get that groggy feeling in the A.M. I love it!

My daughter just got me started using essential oils a couple months ago. I loved the aromas and started to read up and learn about all the good things that essential oils help with. Most Essential oils are natural healing oils without all the chemicals that our medicines all have in them now days. You want to make sure that the company you buy your essential oils from are pure and do not add chemicals to them to make them cheaper. The essential oil assortment that my daughter sent me was from Young Living. Looking them up I read that they were supposed to be the best but they were so expensive. I figured there had to be other companies out there just as good so I went on line and started looking. Edens Garden is a great company and the products are a lot cheaper and in my opinion just as good. I love all the oils I have purchase from Edens Garden. Good Night Synergy essential blend oil by Edens Garden is a pleasantly nice smelling blend of essential that promotes calm and rest so you can go to sleep faster if you are all keyed up and having problems slowing your brain down. Eden Garden has layered layers of individual oils, each with unique soothing properties that help you fall to sleep. Good Night Synergy is an even blend of Chamomile, Clary Sage, Copaiba, Lavender, Peru Balsam, Sandalwood, Sweet Marjoram and Ylang Ylang. Edens Garden states that their essential oils are never diluted or mixed with additives which makes me feel safe about their essential oils. I diffuse this oil and it is just wonderful. I have not tried to make a mixture to spray on my pillow. I have been thinking of doing that for my son who has problems going to sleep every night. Don't think he would use a diffuser if I took one to his house so spraying his pillow may help. I have tried a few of Edens Garden essential oil blends and love them all. In my opinion Eden Garden the company and their essential oil blends are definitely five star and sold at a great price.
