I don't get it - this is an 'assortment'? why? i have a japanese silk screen to hang and it is 3/4" wide all around, so i need a channel of 1".

Not sure what you’re asking, they were all the same size. But the channel is only a 1/4” wide. So this will not work for your application.

Are these all the same size as described in the title, or a variety as described in the product description? I need 1/4”only.

They were all the same size for me.

Do you the clips in gold or brass color?

I did not see the clips available in any other color.
