Disney's Lullaby Album

I love this album. It's all instrumentals so no singing, which I sometimes find annoying in my lullabies. Yes, I am a grown woman that listens to lullabies. I am a big Disney fan and have enjoyed many Disney albums. I have an old Disney babies lullaby album from 1990 that I used when I worked in a day care, this would have been better. The musical arrangements are very soothing. I highly recommend this for Disney fans young and old.

We have used music to put my son (who is now 2) to bed every night since he came home from the hospital. We love Disney. The music is so calming and beautiful. It is instrumental so if you love Disney and know most of the songs you can sing along with it. I love to sing my baby to sleep and this is perfect. He is now 2 and we still use this cd to play in the background of his room. We have other CD's with words but now that has gotten older the words seem to distract him from sleeping as he wants to sing along too. This is a great gift for a new mother or any disney lover!

This CD is really great, just like the reviews I read before I got it. My 5 mo old likes it so much that when we go into her room and I hot play, she knows it's bedtime and instantly settles. It relaxes me as well. It is completely instrumental and very well done.

My kids practically can't sleep without it. They've been listening to this since they were babies and are now ages 5 and 7. It's very soothing. I originally had the CD and panicked when it eventually got scratched. Thank goodness for digital copies. Now I can just stream it to a little bluetooth player in their room.

We bought this CD of lullabies based on the reviews and received several other lullaby CDs from friends as gifts. Of all the albums, this was the hands-down winner and has become the staple of our nap and bedtime routine.Initially, we started playing music for naptime only, and varied the CDs, but we noticed that this CD seemed to be most effective at lulling him to sleep, and we now use this for all naps and many bedtimes. My son will ask for this CD if he's having trouble falling asleep at night- even at his most cranky, he is soothed and calmed, and he knows that the music helps him. Most surprising to me is that I've come to really love this CD myself- I was a little skeptical that it would be schmaltzy, but it's really quite charming and sweet. It's a testament to the arrangers that I still want to listen to it after hearing it multiple times a day for two years. I even find myself singing along to the songs sometimes! We are actually buying a second copy for our new baby's room- I have a feeling this will be a lifelong family favorite.Reasons this CD works so well:- Instrumental, no lyrics- we found this to be very important in helping our son "shut down" his active toddler brain- Tempo of songs similar enough so no jarring transitions- Volume of songs even throughout- Length of CD is just long enough to ensure the child is sleeping when the music ends

This is a wonderful CD. I started playing it for my toddler and I at bedtime (and for his naps) to help us wind down and get sleepy, and I think it has definitely done the trick. The songs are beautifully arranged, instrumental only, and consistent for volume from track to track with no big volume changes during each song. I know some people griped in reviews that it wasn't all Disney music, but I don't care, they're all really lovely songs. I would definitely recommend this to anyone with babies or small children... or anyone without kids that just wants something to fall asleep to.

What can I say. The music is awesome! We've had this playing for almost 2 months now... every night! I didn't have music for my little one (2yrs old) before now. We just now needed something to help her settle down to sleep. The volume level from one song to the next is consistent, and the songs are the songs I remember the words to (though these don't have words). It's the kind of music that I've now listen to when I want to sleep. I bought the 2nd Album of music as well, and got the same wonderful results. I switch the CDs between my little one's room and my room for sleeping from time to time, and never get tired of them. This music stays on all night at our house in a continuous loop. If you want music you will enjoy as well as your little one, these are the songs for you.

I hate the lullaby CDs that are basically wind chimes over and over. This CD is different. It really is instrumental. My son enjoys hearing it and it puts him to sleep easily.

I love this album and so does my daughter of 19-months. The music is gentle and soothing and has some classic songs. A lovely album which helps my daughter drift off to sleep in the evening. I love listening to this album myself! Highly recommend and not just for babies and children.

I just wanted to say this is the best CD that I have ever bought. I have used it to help establish a bed routine for my daughter. I started when she was 5 weeks old and she is now 1 year old and it sends her to sleep every time. I usually sing to her the first track then leave her to sleep. The music is lovely (instrumental) and my husband and I enjoy the sleep. A worthwhile purchase! I bought the first Disney lullaby CD but I did not find it as good.

I can 100% recomend this album. I searched through all of the different lullaby cd's and listened to as many demo's as possible, eventually choosing this one and the Disney Princess album as well. As a musician myself I knew what I was after and found the tracks on this album to be really soothing... not plinky plonky at all. It's now part of my babies bedtime routine and to be honest mine as well, as I find it helps me sleep too.

I brought this as a gift for my cousin's newborn daughter and both her and the baby have loved it! She has been telling me ever since that it helps the baby sleep if she is being a bit difficult sometimes :) Having done some music therapy research while at university I can see how it can benefit babies, a study showed that premature babies for example grew and gained weight quicker if they were exposed to harp music for 20 minutes everyday compared to babies which were not given the music!Great CD, and great music therapy for the baby!

my grandchildren age 4years and 7years did not enjoy this version, but may appeal to small babies if played very softly as recommended

This is lovely way to introduce young mums and babies to classical music ;it helps both to relax together and soothes those stressful times.Hopeful they will then explore the joy of a large variety of music and the way it soothes ,stimulates excites ,saddens and lifts the spirt.

Bought as gift ...love the Disney songs I used to sing with mine when they were little

We wanted a soft, not tinkly, music for bedime.This is a fantastic CD with great adaptation of well know music scores.It now forms part of our little baby's sleeping routine.update: 6 years on we still use this at night for relaxing back ground noise, only now its via our Echo. Our daughter loves the music and its a great part of her night time routine.

Love this so much. It is beautiful music that sooths and calms my 9 month old and my 2.5 year old. We listen to it when I need baby to sleep and toodler to be quiet and I haven't found it annoying even though I've listened to it lots.

Gentle to get toddler to sleep

Very soothing and relaxing. Not cheesy like so many others, not simplistic awful to listen to versions of classics, just lovely soothing baby music. Does a great job as part of our night time routine for our baby. The first time we put it on my wife and I started nodding off on the sofa ourselves...can highly recommend to insomniacs as well!

I bought this as I manage a busy Baby Room in a Nursery. When they are all crying to go to sleep, this CD gets put on, and it calms and soothes them. Lots of beautiful, soft songs on there, perfects for relaxing, and getting baby off to sleep. I have bought a second one, so the older children in the next room can go to sleep too! It works with them, and they are aged 18 months - 2 and a half!

I bought this for my first child and it is such a god send. it helps my baby to setelt on his own and to stay asleep both during the night and day. Adults dont mind having this in the background either since the melodies are unobtrusive and easy listening. music is not twee or 'tinny' like so many musical toys and CDs. i rate this product 100% and would buy for family members with a new baby.

Bought this for my son who will be 3 soon. He loves his music and it really helps him to get to sleep. This also seems to be a good cd to help my son get to sleep so I am happy with the cd and happy with my purchase. Thank you.
