It's a very, very thin neck gator. It is probably fine for ~30-50% UV protection (at best), and possibly recommended in summer months or warm climate. The material is so thin and light that it's not stopping anything coming out of your mouth or nose, so don't purchase as a COVID face mask replacement. To give you an idea, the material is about as thin as pantyhose material, only slightly more opaque. The pics look like the material is thicker and heavier.

Because of COVID-19 and because I fish regularly, I ordered a four pack of neck gaiters from some other place here on Amazon. It took three months for me to get that order. In the mean time I ordered one of these gaiters and got it fairly quickly. It fits me comfortably well and I like it! The other four that I got, after waiting three months, are a little tighter and I didn't like them as much as this one, but they fit my wife a little better than me so she got those. I wanted more colors so I ordered two more gaiters from yet another place on Amazon. One of them fit me well and I like it, but the other one was way too tight so I won't wear it at all. I figure it will make a decent glasses cleaning cloth though. I decided to order two more of these gaiters to get two more colors I wanted and I got them in two days! Both fit me just like the first one I got from here. My hat size is 7 1/2 (23.5" head circumference) and I really like these gaiters and the consistency of the fit! This place doesn't say anything about UV protection, like the other places I bought from, but as far as I'm concerned, it does the trick. I wear it while fishing for hours at a time in the sun and it definitely keeps the sun off me! I should have bought some of these years ago! Having said all this, I think this is the best place to get online, light weight, summer cooling, consistent fitting neck gaiters!

Fits well and for the most part stays put. Very little sliding down beneath my nose

I've got a relatively large head and this fits perfectly fine. Would be a little tight for me as a headband, but as a neck-gator/face mask it's perfect. It's a little thicker than I expected which makes it pretty warm to wear, which I didn't exactly want, but it's pretty good otherwise. The seam is pretty large so pulling it too much would probably start to tear, but for general use it's a good choice.

Stays on my nose. Not a problem even on a hot day. Wouldn't expect much warmth.UPDATE: Does not stay on my nose whilst running.

I bought 4 of these in light gray for running. For me, they stay up just fine and are thin enough that I can breath through them. Also, they keep me cool. They’re nothing fancy and maybe a bit overpriced but they work fine.

Nice quality but very small. Top to bottom is plenty long but around is so tight that I can not breathe through my nose, and would not be usable during exercise/ work.Should be stated as child's size!

Wish they made these just a bit shorter so there would be less material around my neck, but basically all of them are around the same length no matter what brand.
