my ignitor for a members mark bbq is not working

Be sure battery is good and in correct way. I find mine doesn't work as original did, and I have to hold starter button in a few seconds for it to fire. If not for you return it.

Does This fit a next grill?

I don't know what a next grill is but it works great just make sure you get the one that has the same amount of ignators hook up as you have on your grill its pretty universal I rebuilt my whole grill with new parts aka burners ignators and this switch for under $50. Saved me from buying a new grill and it's like new now
