Toeasor 7NOCC Audio Cable Replacement Cord Wire Compatible with Sennheiser IE80 IE8 IE8i Earphones (Red)

I am posting this in the hopes that it will help someone out. I recently purchased the Muigiwi 7NOCC Audio Cable Replacement Cord Wire for my Sennheiser IE80S headphones because as many of you know, Sennheiser has sold its consumer headphone division to Sonova.At the time, the IE 80S replacement cables were no longer available from the Sennheiser website, and so I thought we wouldn't be able to order these from Sennheiser anymore (they are now back in stock).This is the reason why I bought the Muigiwi cables here on Amazon. Unfortunately, the cables were not built correctly and so just five months after the purchase, the wire on the right channel came apart (see attached images). From what I can tell, the wires on the right channel were not crimped correctly, leaving the bare wire exposed which led to fraying. The result is that there is no audio coming out of that channel anymore. The headphone cable is now useless to me.Fortunately, I am happy to report that the OEM Sennheiser Cables, which are of significantly better build quality than these, are once again available on their website, and only cost about $40 (these cost me about $20). If you are thinking of buying these cables, I suggest that you buy OEM instead (the cost savings are not worth it in my opinion).Now if I could only get my cat to stop chewing my headphone cables I wouldn't have to keep buying new sets anymore!! =^._.^=

As soon as I held it and felt the material, I knew it wasn't going to last long.Took 3 months for right connection to fail. Cheap (and kinda ugly tbh).Had a much better experience with the FDBROS cable (much stronger construction, lasted over 2 years last time). It's no longer available on Amazon but I found it on AliExpress for 10 bucks. Going back to those next. If you're still hanging on to IE80 buds like I am, I suggest you do the same.

Overall the cable feels solid. The cables to each earbud are thinner than the original sennheiser cable ,which makes it feel a bit cheap, but the rest feels solid. My only nit pick is the connector to the phone is a chungus, seriously it feels out of place compared to the rest of the cable. Its enormous and heavy bit if gives it a premium feel. So far no issues unlike other third party cables which break in a week or dead on arrival...Also this cable does change the sound of the earbuds, I'm not an audiofile so I cant say exactly how its different but i think this cable might have more resistance than the original one. I have an LG phone and with the standard amp seetting it sounded off at first but after I switched to the more powerful setting(meant for headphones) it sounded fine.

I ordered this to replace my Sennheiser ie-80 cable when that was unavailable. It lasted about two uses before the cable connector fell off the earpiece and would not go back on. It cost a lot less than the Sennheiser but in terms of durability it wasn’t even worth that. Buy a replacement set of earbuds instead of this.

the cable stay attached properly and didn't fell off like many 3rd party cable i hadthe 3.5mm jack stay plugged in nicely and didn't move at alland my IE80 sound just like how i remember it wasthe cable is soft, comfy to wear and produce less noise than stock one when it hit objectsmy only concern is that i'm not sure how long the cable is going to last after multiple "budget" 3rd party one i have gone through. However this could possibly be the best one i have ever purchased

What can I really say besides this is a great option that is far superior to the Sennheiser IE80 stock cable.Cable weave is tight.Connectors are solid and flush fitting.Sounds is what I would expect from a wire.Prime one day shipping and 20 dollars is a crazy good deal for this cable.I used this to turn my IE80S BT from wireless to wired as the buds themselves are the same as the wired IE80S. Being able to drive the IE80S using my iFi Zen Dac is great. Also not needing to spend egregious amounts of money to do so is a plus.

I don't recommend purchasing these as replacements to the IE80's.I bought these as my old cord is starting to fall apart. The sound in the right ear is all off, leaving a static-y, tinny sound.Back to my original, falling apart cord.
