Fixed my 25 year old pioneer stereo
Used these to fix my old pioneer stereo that started buzzing/humming, stereo sounds amazing again

Potentially good
I tried to use these with an amplifier to improve the dynamic response of the amplifier by achieving a lower impedance power source. Unfortunately the 19v switching power brick I was using became unstable with such a large capacitive load and I couldn’t make it work. But they are a nice size, and maybe in the future I’ll purchase a traditional transformer-based power source and see if I can get them to work with that.The available low cost class D amplifier modules are quite good, but can sound muddy with intermodulation distortion. I have one directly driven from a 12v lead acid battery and it sounds much cleaner than the one I’m using with the switching power brick, so I know I’m onto something. These will be an important component of a future setup. I just wish I knew what their ripple rating is.

SIZE LISTED IS INCORRECT
These are 35mm in diameter rather than the listed 30mm. Be aware that they may not fit where used as replacements for existing 30mm diameter units.
