My son has been playing with this so much since he got it. He learns a cube and moves on to the next type. He's almost got it down, just working on speed. It was a great price and perfect size for him. It moves smoothly and is just difficult enough to keep him busy.

This was a small gift for my 14 year old grandson. Two days after receiving it, he texted me to say he was able to solve it. It looks well made.

This 3x3 twist cube is a lot of fun. The first two layers are solved very similarly to a regular 3x3 puzzle, but once you reach the last layer, the 3x3 algorithms will not work. There are a lot of challenging shapes you will encounter for the last layer including the lonely center, bar, hook, diamond, cross, sign, two types of fish, altogether requiring you to know two basic algorithms. Parity can occur in the last layer so another algorithm is required. As well, there is an interesting case where the centers can end up reoriented 90° or 180° (flipped colors), and that requires two more algorithms. In summary, anyone looking for a challenging "twist" to a cube 3x3 will be delighted with this puzzle because not only is the shape fun to work with (it is a shapeshifter), the last layer is where much of the challenge and fun is found. I would not recommend people using finger tricks and super fast speeds with this puzzle because of the shapeshifting qualities. It turns well and its colours are vibrant. Overall I am very happy with it, especially loving that it is stickerless.
